We have a Goddess and every bit of evidence pointing towards the guy. The author got away with the twist once and hasn't even done anything with the half-brother twist. I doubt they'll pull that twice.

I was also expecting a twist, but I guess that's not case. At least Aqua can now go through with his plan and have the full moral high ground

I was wondering why we were following some actress we had never even heard of before... and figured it out way too late.

So Kamiki didn't get rid of Himekawa's parents and Ai because they could harm his reputation, he just gets off on snuffing the life out of people with a bright future ahead of them. You thought Akane was out of the woods? Think again!

I think he's specifically after bright talents who can awaken the Sharingan in at least one eye, so yeah that still applies to Akane

I wonder if he'll directly go after Ruby eventually.

Although Kamiki is a murderer, I still have doubts he was involved in Goro or Ai's deaths.

It's weird that he planned Ryosuke to kill Ai, when he seems to prefer to be present during his victim's death.

Not to mention that Kamiki doesn't seem to have a reason to want Goro's death. He isn't even his kind of victim.

I don't think that correlation applies, considering there's no evidence he was there for Himekawa's parents' deaths either.

You have a point with Goro's death, but Aqua isn't going after Kamiki for his own murder anyway.
Goro also didn't necessarily have to be Kamiki's target. Kamiki provoked Ryosuke to go after Ai, so Goro could have just been murdered collaterally because he was in the stalker's way.

Aqua got all the crew together, including his half-brother and sister, his ex and current crush, his friend who is a girl (MemCho) and his friend who is a guy (Melt). Though it's kind of dirty getting Akane involved right after you told her not to. He really does use her as naturally as he breathes.
