From the studio that brought us Grounded, Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity and so many more RPG classics. It's a Skyrim competitor but with a LOT more vibrant colors instead of a dreary color palette (which was perfect for Skyrim's Nordic region, though).

Maybe, but to be specific - Avowed is actually set in the same universe as one of Obsidian Entertainment's previous RPG games, namely Pillars of Eternity, whose style leans heavily more towards Baldur's Gate.

And before the claims of cloning multiply, let's not forget who OE are: former developers of Black Isle Studios, the creators of Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Planetscape: Torment and Icewind Dale. They've got some serious RPG chops and are quite renowned for that.
