The terrorists, as well as the classmates, don't have any hint of CLAMP left in them.
Lulu and Suzaku are pretty much the only ones left (as of right now) that have a strong CLAMP design left in their appearance, don't you think?

I'm sure there will be more bishounen characters that look CLAMP, but as of right now, majority of the characters are totally Kimura's trademark look.

Yeah I saw the ANN review and I instantly replied with a bash on the reviewer. In fact, most people who frequent the ANN forums and people who work there are ****ing western lay-fans who know NOTHING about Anime. God they piss me off.

I swear the only thing they watch is probably Death Note. It's idiots like them who fuel the 24 fansub groups working on Death Note the same time. I hate over-hyped series....(off topic).

If you look in the replies a bit you might find my post. Too lazy to post it here.

Maybe they let Clamp do all the guys' designs, and Kimura the girls designs. lol

Episode 4 just got aired. It's available at the usual 'outlets.' I can't wait to see it.

Seems like ep04 already aired because there's already a torrent for the raw. Screenshots/summary/spoilers, anyone?

On a side note, the only girl I could somewhat identify as a CLAMP traditional design was Nanaly - she sorta reminded me of a few characters seen in xxxHolic, especially that little medium girl, Kohane. But she's the only one.

Lelouch's sister (sister right?) still seems fairly CLAMPish to me. Maybe not the face -- but she definitely has the gangly elongated limbs and proportions like the more recent CLAMP shows. Thank god its not as bad as xxxHolic .... I can't even watch that show bc the chara designs are so retardedly proportioned (not to mention the plot sucks).

Finished watching Code Geass 4. Looks like someone's not dead...

It turns out that Suzaku's the eldest son of Japan's last prime minister. Lelouch and his sister haven't seen him since the end of the war.

I find it ironic: the son of the most important person in Britannia wants to destroy Britannia. The son of the former-most important person in Japan is working for Britannia.

The weird doctor really wanted to keep Suzaku as the devicer, because no one before him has ever produced such high performance data. But because of the death of Clovis, the purists in Britannia army is on the rise - they only want pure Britannians, not naturalized elevens in the army. So they're using Suzaku as an excuse to kick out all the naturalized elevens and make the army pure.

Lelouch leaves behind some instructions for Karen at the Tokyo Tower, and she got on the monorail with her rebel friends. Lelouch then told her to get to the first car, which he had already cleared out with his powers. He, in his V for Vendetta get up, tells them that the way to fight is not to fight Britannians, but to destroy Britannia completely. They demand he take off his mask, he tells them he'll show his powers instead.

On the day of the trial, Jeremiah leads a group of Sutherlands with Suzaku tied up towards the court, when Clovis's funeral car (or a look alike of it) with Karen comes driving along towards them. Lelouch comes out and announces his name as "Zero," and declares to the everyone that he's Clovis's killer. He then reveals the contents of the fake funeral car: the "poison gas" device (which contained C.C.) - of course no one except Suzaku knows it's not poison gas, and Suzaku can't speak. Lelouch then demands the release of Suzaku, otherwise he'll release the 'poison gas,' Jeremiah wasn't buying it of course, so Lelouch opened up one part of his mask, revealing his left eye only, and mind-controlled Jeremiah. Even though others tried preventing them from getting away, Jeremiah, still under the mind control, allows them to get away. And they got away.

Later, Zero/Lelouch has a talk with Suzaku, and he wants Suzaku to join the rebellion, but Suzaku refuses. He says that even though Britannia is a bad country, he will change it to a good country from within, and decides to go back to the military court. Lelouch gets very frustrated at Suzaku's decision.

At the Lelouch residence, Nanaly's listening to the news broadcast, when someone walks into the room. She thought it's Sayako the maid, when it's Headshot-tan C.C.

From the previews, looks like Suzaku's charges were cleared and he goes home. He manages to catch Euphemia falling from the sky. Previews had no scenes of C.C. at all...

You know, it'd be interesting to cosplay as Zero. LOL

I don't think that it really matter who design whom. Plots -> animation -> character design. I did not watch this series due to CLAMP even though I am a huge fan of CLAMP.

I am used to hate pink-hair girl, but this season seem to change that. I like Sana (from Innocence Venus) and now I like Karin (sp?). She is so cool. I love her reaction in that car, it like, "what am I doing here? I must be crazy." In the next eps, look like another pink hair girl join the cast.

Am I the only one, besides the rebels in the show, who thinks Lulu's now definitely boderline insane. Look at the amount of confidence he shows in these crazy plans of his. They might be somewhat effective, but crazy is crazy.

Well.....sort of. He's destroying everything with his insanity, but there's also two other factors to consider:

1. He's doing it for a "good" cause.
2. He's the main character. Doesn't that automatically make him the hero?

Lelouche is a realist -- he believed that no one student would ever be able to change things, but then after getting the "evil eye" and outmanuevering the military in Ep2, he begins to believe that he could successfully defeat Britannia.

Being a realist, he knows that he IS gambling with peoples lives (he says as much) but also knows that it would be impossible to overthrow the system without sacrifices. The key to him, is having the minimal amount lost as possible.

Suzaku is a pragmatist (optimist?) I think is the correct term? He would like to see the system overthrown as well, but he doesn't believe in sacrificing anyone in order to do it. But then of course the question is would the system ever change then?

Yeah hes doin it for a good cause but the main guy hasnt always been good, MD Geist. But I think I like that about him, his crazyness. I just hope theres more mecha like the Lancelot.

Although I want to see more action, but it great to see Lelouch as Zero (is that his name when he dress up like a vampire?). Lelouch was able to save Suzuka, but seem like Suzuka want to return to Brittania's side. As for the scene when Zero carry Suzuka up to safety, it remind me of Spiderman and MJ. Or maybe lack of sleep make me I am used to hate pink-hair girl, but this season seem to change that. I like Sana (from Innocence Venus) and now I like Karin (sp?). She is so cool. Anyway, this episode had Lelouch pulling off another insane stunt for freeing Suzaku, though of course courtesy of his eye controlling Jeremiah. Lots of fun to watch

Suzaku versus Jerimiah. Ofcourse it also seems Euphemia ditches ditsy personality in the same episode and shows the Lulu proven royal backbone and intervenes in the fight, with her body.
