Damn they already have a thread on this... Seriously, someone should do something so i don't make a fool of myself by making threads that are already made.

kj1980: "Onegai Zombie" aside, how does one have an illicit relationship with the dead? As I grow increasingly tactless, I'll just suggest that as a westerner I imagine that such relationships would tend to be a bit like "ships meeting in the night" as decomposition sets in... How is it viewed in Japan?
(On an aside, there was a Swedish queen who kept her husbands dead body in her room for years - It could be buried only after the parliament grew a backbone and ordered it thus (and even then she kept his heart in a box...brrrr) ) |

You know, there is a search function. you should use it then. I hope they don't make another Onegai series. Teacher was tolerable, but Twins was utter crap. |

Another (hopefully) illicit one would be Onegai Cucumber!
O'course it would be very interesting if they tried to make a serious romance story about a girl and a sentient, phallic-shaped object. Nah, it would probably hurt my brain. Nevermind. -k |

Onegai Azumanga Daioh
What can I say Id love to see it ^_^; Nah but on a more serius note, I actually hope there will be no more from the Onegai series. Teacher and Twins are two fine animes but enough is enough and I think they'v pushed the Onegai series as far as it should go. Edit: Its Daioh not Daiho....I am a fool >_< Last edited by Dark_Voodoo; 2004-01-24 at 21:51. |

Synopsis: My mother has been saving this takoyaki for a "rainy day" as she says, but I'm soooo hungry. I MUST eat it! But no! It is a forbidden treat... I must not eat it... but I crave it so! But then again, it may not be takoyaki at all... Onegai Takoyaki, the newest series about a young man's dilemma: will he eat his mother's takoyaki, or can he resist its octopus goodness? Is it REALLY a takoyaki at all? |
