I loved the anime series of Black Lagoon, so it'd be awesome to see another. How many mangas (roughly) did each season/barrage encompass? I suspect we're probably a few mangas-short before there's enough content?
I'm not familiar with the mangas myself, but a friend of mine says the series follows pretty closely, so I don't think a remake as a set of OVAs would be that good, as I felt the pacing of the series was very good so they'd either be cramming things in, or skipping bits. |

The 2nd maid arc is the only thing unanimated and it's still going, as far as I know it's 28 chapters long so far, more than enough for 13 episodes, but they will probably wait until its done to animate. |

Technically, yes, but in reality no. There are enough material to fill 13 episodes, but there would be no ending. The new story arc need to finish first for the anime to have a proper conclusion.
