And for some of us, it's the closest thing to a sequal to Ojamajo Doremi. Just for the slightly old skool mahou shoujo fans...
I also think Mizuki Nana voicing tsubomi had some effect. Surely some otakus must have thought 'I'll watch the first episode to hear Nana-chan', it's part of the reason why I started it too. We getting some major revelations like 1 cour in, that is twice of the speed of other seasons, which takes about 2 cours to get anywhere. The physical fight scenes is back from the first generation too. More consistant animation too.

I hope they stick to the 'two episodes filler, then plot episode' formula. At the beginning it was alright having a lot of filler because we were still getting used to the themes and style of the show, though now we're past that.
