Is that even possible? I don't know. We know that most vampires are actually born, those girls on Vatler's ship wanted Kojou's kids so they'd have powerful vampire babies and such, and in order to become the progenitor Kojou had to /kill/ Avrora with some sort of crossbow. And apparently Vampire Reina was literally the child of Kojou and Yukina.
It might be that you don't turn people into vampires in this setting. Vampires are literally descended the usual way from the progenitors.

You all may recall Yukina undergoing a medical check at the end of the first arc, the results of which sounded enough like a pregnancy test that when Asagi and Nagisa overheard them they completely flipped out on Kojou. That was to check to make sure he hadn't accidentally turned her into a blood servant by biting her.

Am about six months late to the party and watching the show. Currently on episode 2.
Seeing Yukina eagerly proclaim everything in the supermarket to be a weapon, I couldn't help but laugh. Sounds like Michael Westen and Fiona Glenanne might have moonlighted as instructors at her school.

Empire of the Dawn felt very rushed, with only two episodes, and Reina barely getting enough screentime on her own. But then again Natsuki shut her up, because otherwise she'll give away too much of the series future plot. The highlight was the post-credits scene, which was a huge tease for the events in the future. It's at least nice to know in advance that many of the present characters (the ones we care about anyway) survived at least to 20 years in the future, so there's probably not going to be a dark everybody dies ending.
Score: 8.4/10. In terms of the show as a whole, it feels like an introduction, and the main action of the plot has not yet begun at all. The arcs covered have been character introduction, worldbuilding, and dropping plot hooks. I think there's more than enough elements for an epic storyline, which hopefully will begin in a future sequel.

As for the last episode, it felt like it could have used a few extra minutes of run time. |

There may have been some complicated interactions between meeting Avrora, him being made into a blood servant, and her making him kill her. After all, we have fairly compelling evidence that he did kill Avrora, both with his flashback, and in the simple fact that he is the fourth progenitor now. It was also fairly obvious in the flashback that he didn't want to have killed her. It's not an illogical conclusion that she, for some reason, concluded that she needed to die, and forced him to kill her.
Also, I'm not at all sure where the lolicon comment comes from. The post you were quoting made no suggestion of sexual interaction, beyond noting that people can either be born as vampires (like Reina and Moegi), or be turned into vampires under certain cirumstances through being bitten.

Yeah, not sure what GundamZZ's post was about, but I was merely saying that it was interesting that vampires can be created both through normal reproduction and through biting through the blood bond.
As for Avrora, he wouldn't be a lolicon anyway if he did feel something for her at the time - even ignoring the fact Avrora was Really 700 Years Old</obligatory TVTropes Reference>. After all, he's only 16 now. Back when he met Avrora, he was either 15 or 16. She was in the middle school outfit in a flashback, so was pretending to be from 12-14, and from appearance, 14 is most likely. A 15-16 year old dating a 14 year old isn't a lolicon. Pretty normal I'd say.
