Awwww, man. What a shame. The story had a lot of potential. I feel like it is more like a waste if the novel ends like this.
This doesnt make him a bad writer though, but still i feel bad when any LN/Manga gets axed.

My guess is that it's an open ending.

I thought that the author had more planned for this series, but I guess not.

as much as i like the series, i have to admit that the author kinda shoot himself in the legs for choosing Lovecraft myth as the main base, Lovecraft myth is too much of a mess to configured itself into a novel

Well to be honest I was hoping the author could break the norm. I was happy when he choose Lovecrafts mythology. I mean Norse mythology revolving around Loki, Solomon and the 72 pillars and a few others are over used. So when I heard the author was going to try something different I was overjoyed. Perhaps the bar is too high a reach but perhaps not one day.

As much as i am agree with you on this, H.P Lovecraft system is done very messily, unlike other myth, Ctulhu don't have a proper pantheon, and most of the gods mentioned is very obscure, the story in Lovecraft myth is also a mess since there are too many author with their own interpretations. The gods in Lovecraft stories, is a complete mess,I doubt many could diffirentiated between great old ones and outer gods. I alsp hope that one day some one can wrote a good story on them

Sumika awesomeness all around, I love that Homura didn't come back to solve everyone's problems (till the end anyway but hey someone had to save Shiori) but every human cooperated to defeat the bastards, the feats were awesome and the fights were tense.

Sill the epilogue was a mix of hilarious and unsatisfying, the author could have extended it a bit more to properly convey the ending, still the whole "I'll kiss you if you can scratch me followed by the girls outright trying to nuke Homura was hilarious as hell.

Good read overall 7.5/10 for this series.

Sumika now has Vel contract.

Homura himself can take possession of her when he is needed.

And he got a body at the end, who even he states that he is still a 10000fold stronger than them.

Not to mention Sumika showed that she can take Demon king Class with Vel added.

And the Demons that invade earth are just runaways who got kicked out Demons otherwise have no business in Earth, and mankind has zero reason to go to de Demon World either.

They have means.

The final volume was nice, though I would have liked a little more. It was nice to see everyone together to beat the angels and I like that Homura didn't show up to save the day until the very end.

The epilogue had it's funny moments like Homura teasing the girls with that kiss and them responding by trying to nuke him.So Homura has a body now, albeit a weaker one and he is going to be the fairy king. Also as far as romance is concerned, it's an open end.

It probably doesn’t sell enough for him to write more about it. 4 vol should be enough for a 13 eps anime.
