Cipher would own everyone. This is the same guy who beat his rival in an air joust match with supremely lower end gear.

I am intrigued at this term "air joust"

@ Eras
Well.... I dunno, but probably really awkward, tend to invoke silence amongst the audience.

@ Demi
I was thinking about Macross, Pre 2025 Valkyrie fighters are mostly inferior and 'closer to earth' (pun intended), and would've with Sacred Twins neatly without being too farfetched. But post 2030 fighters are damn scary (I doubt I.S. can beat them en-masse, seriously).

This time I am reminded about the knightmare frames from code geass. Apparently early models were only good as cannon fodder and glorified hybrids between tanks and power armor. Then later models had gravity cannons and the like >.>

@ Demi - They basically ram straight at each other till they separate at the last minute. Very stressful and one mistake is costly.

@ Senpai - Planned an awkward moment (genuinely awkward) when Kaznashi gets sick and Saito takes care of her. Unfortunately, he looks like his teen form, is there's some really awkward moments. Taking off her clothes to change it after she gets sweaty is one of the first ones.

Did canon mention any IS testing facilites in Japan, other than IS Academy? If so, then where are they located?

Since I'm planning to make Athena a trilogy... I chalked up plans of my own for a Second Shift Blue Tears. ^^

Not sure if any one would like to hear it though.

I'm not so sure about my fic. Oh, and Stratosphere, what are your thoughts on this?

Spoiler for Silverback Weaponry (Sidearms, but still updating):

And these are the "small arms" fire. If they're like that, think about the Saber and Shockburst assault rifles.

Currently laying it out in my standard template format so it's not a HUEG, paragraph-less text wall when I post it.

It'll have something like the Ex-S does at about 0:04-0:16 in this video:
(Just in case, turn down your speaker volumes before playing it)

And you may also be able to figure out the name of the Second Shift Blue Tears from this video too

My impressions:
Stinger SMG: Akin to the Double Anarchy SMG in Borderlands, though I don't think the Stinger would have terribad accuracy as the Double Anarchy has at long range. It's good balance.

Desert Ranger: Looks like a miniature railgun to me, since it practically meant to project the bullet instantaneously upon firing. That would mean a heckload of recoil so I'm guessing the user won't be able to fire it as fast as he would for a normal pistol.

Overall, they're sound for small arms. Just that the Desert Ranger wouldn't be able to deliver rapid accurate shots without a firm benchrest.

Not sure what to think about the assault rifles though...

@Stratos Go ahead, that would be really interesting,

Well me, I didn't do that. So far my story got this.

Ichika - Third-shift (Reiraku Kaluva)

Charlotte - Second shift (Ravena Revive)

Houki - I'm planning if I should

Laura - Second shift (I haven't named the second shift yet)

I'm planning if I should give Cecilia and Rin a chance too, but I think I'm short of time

I need help on Laura's second-shift name :O and Houki

Well, you might want to watch this.

Both the Stinger SMG and the Desert Ranger has the same "recoil reduction tech" as the KRISS Super V. Allowing more accurate shots on both sidearms. But the Stinger SMG's range is shorter than the Desert Ranger's because of it's short barrel length (it has around the same effective range as the Gorgon Pistol from Gears of War to give an example).
