I took that as strictly referring to the current image.

Either way, you guys have been away from the seasons too long. The trailer shows no larger eyes than that of the first two seaons. I could screencap some images to prove my point, if needed. There have been a few movie artwork images that had them especially large, but that was more coincidental rather than the true size of the eyes within the movie.

Isn't it only Megami that's been trying too hard with the movie designs? I remember you guys commenting on one Movie poster that didn't have problems with the eye sizes.

Just another case of Seven Arc's art work being as inconsistant as ever =/

I love the shows they make, but they seriously are a sub-par studio when it comes to technical merits.

I know that. And it's still creepy. In that picture Fate's eyes look like they're about to fly out of her head.

And looking at my copy of A's right here Nanoha's are about the same but Hayate and Fate's are definitely bigger.

You're comparing official artwork to the A's animation. Doesn't work. And it depends heavily on the scene. Can't expect them to be the same throughout. Mainly the close-up shots of individual characters are where the eyes are largest in A's.

Actually I'm comparing it to the box art. Assumptions make a- well I won't finish that.

So you're comparing one image, to one other image. That works even less.

I could just as easily find A's artwork that has large eyes by your standards, and then movie artwork where they seem fine to you.

What? You got something against maids?

Image loses points for obvious looking shop job, though. Hayate's face is clearly taken from the hug pillow cover where she's in her swimsuit. The other two's faces are taken from other art as well, though I can't immediately think of which.
