Episode 19 Summary

Hikari and the others have found Manaka asleep inside a thick ena membrane in the cemetery of Ojoshi-sama's.

They somehow manage to carry the girl, who was losing her ena, back to the surface and to the Shiodome residence. However, Manaka remains asleep.

After that, a doctor examines her and concludes that aside from losing her ena there is nothing wrong with her body. Everybody is relieved.
>医師が帰ったあと、眠るまなかにひとり話しかける光の姿があった。それを見る美海は何を想うの か。
After the doctor leaves, Hikari speaks alone with the sleeping Manaka. How will Miuna react upon seeing that?

Meanwhile, Chisaki goes visit Isamu (Tsumugu's grandfather) and he tells her that there's a continuation to the story of Ojoshi-sama.

Spoiler for Episode 19:

A Chisaki-centric episode, centered around her questionning her growing maturity as well how she changed much compared to her friends. Looking at how Manaka feels when she gets saved by Hikari, it's obvious she will probably lives. The moments that felt memorable was when Chisaki compares her past self alone in her room doing something that can be seen as awkward to Kaname and Tsumugu and the drinking scene was nice. As for the ending, it looks like Chisaki always sees Hikari as being a dynamic companion to her. There was 6 episodes left for finishing story, although I will continue loving everything the series offers.

Chisaki's admiration and devotion to Hikari is really something .

I...am sort of speechless, I guess.
Chisaki's the one who keeps talking about change and many characters pointed out how much she's changed, but...let's face it: she's still the same middle schooler. She's completely lost: Living in the body of a 19-years-old while still holding on to her 14-years-old mindset. I don't know anymore. It doesn't seem like she'll go anywhere without any help from outside.

At least we got to see some reactions from Kaname and Tsumugu. Especially Kaname. It's about time he dropped his act - I like grumpy Kaname much better than the always smiling one.

I don't think Kaname is acting, that how he behaves, usually, but sometimes people needs to take a different aproach to do things, now if the episode is any indication he needs to become a dynamic person like Hikari if he really wants to get Chisaki's heart.

Actually Hikari told Chisaki she didn't change much, to Kaname Chisaki still is the same and it seems he perceives that due to how she acts.

well and we are back to the start again, this is why i hate cheap drama, what was the point of the time skip if the things are almost the same, hikari in love with manaka who when was about to accept his feelings become the sleep princess and chisaki still have a big crush toward him, kaname still in the end of stick, now tsugumi become kaname partner of the end of stick, now we have miuna also in love with hikari(almost a typical harem setup with many girls in love with the alfa male who is a nice chicken magnet)

what was worse is see who the person who suddenly come to rescue chisaki is exactly our nice mc who is total oblivion to both chisaki and miuna feelings, but at last he aware of his feelings toward manaka but still thing in give up her for a guy who dont love her anymore and is in love with the other girl

horrible setup, really become a very boring storie, now is too much "surreal situation" to take serious, too much opera soup drama.

was a good episode in the beginner but get ruined in the middle and the plot become very cliche.

I will try to refrain myself from watching until it's over...it's quite irritating to know that nothing has changed...I know there's still 7 episodes left but come on, this lack of development better give me the build up by episode 21 or else all tables are going to flip.

As I thought, Manaka is staying asleep. We get to hear that there's a continuation to the ojoushisama's tale. The ojoushisama loved somebody from the land and was returned to her home but she had lost something. Sounds the same as Manaka's case.

Tsumugu finally said it. He's truly grateful for Hikari and the others' return, because now, he and Chisaki can move forward. We see him smile at Chisaki's expense but ack! I'd really like to see what Chisaki feels for him. The guy just poured his heart to you while you were sleeping. He just told you how precious your five years together have been for him. The recently confrontational Kaname might lend a hand.

I hope this will finally be Chisaki's closure with regards to her feelings toward Hikari. Will she move forward now but forever keeping in mind her first love? I doubt Okada's done wringing our emotions yet.

Looks like next episode will be Tsumugu's turn.

Hikari is one, boring, annoying, childish, girls like it so ridiculous is a manga character because otherwise it would be a friendless recluse. Triggered the worst MC of all animes.
I was fose TSUMUGU he struck it into the foot in ass Chisaki.
Chiasaki is an eternal child in love with an annoying guy who is not even there for her.
Chiasaki so dara value Tsumugu when he loses, he does everything for her and she's not worth it, she always finds a way to hurt Tsumugo.
No iffy Tsumugu is the improved character of this series he should not be the Mc Hikari the Hiritante, lamentavelo so in manga into a ridiculous guy like Hikari having all girl surrounding him.

The problem is that Chisaki Tsumugu never changed and are still mentally 14 years, although the writer will strive to show the opposite. It is clear that none of the characters will achieve happiness, the story does not go anywhere.

Kaname is perhaps the most decent of the 4 characters.

Pissy Kaname is funny. I'm happy those two have openly admitted to being love rivals, although Tsumgu clearly has the advantage.
