Umm, Skipper was protecting Chiko? And I'm sure there's more to the meet the eye with 20 Faces. I have a feeling we'll be hearing more from him again. He probably did something deliberately that we'll find out later on in the series. Have faith!

Really felt for the death of almost the entire group, though their deaths seem too speed-up and lack that "something". Two questions:

i) Where was Ken? From the intro, he seemed to be still alive. But how and why did he escaped?

ii) What was Nijuu Mensou saying while standing in the flames? Lip-readers? In an anime?

ii) Probably something like "Steal this or that"/"Continue my mission"/"Revive the name of 20Faces" or that. lol

About the action scene at the top of the train, yep, totally silly. Chiko was struggling to cross it and when Angie showed up and she's suddenly able to stand up at the top! lol animators.

Really sad to see them all die though. Even though I expected some deaths I didn't imagine that... all of them would die (except Ken and 20F). The hired detective was also on the train right? He'd bring her back to the house and then the girl from ED would help her get out etc etc?

Maybe the hired detective's role would become more important from now on. Who knows maybe he'll teach her how to be a detective (ED) but nahhh Chiko IS the heiress. She's still gonna be a thief. -w-)V

Any place that sells manga, I'd imagine. TBH the manga is very hard to find. I had to go to three stores and only managed to get 3 volumes.

I thought it was a great episode and I thought it was fairly realistic enough. As for the top of the train, Chiko wasn't caught in a gale like that other girl. And yes, gales do make a difference if it's something like a moving train.

And really, that had to be one of the most bloodiest and final episodes I've ever seen. Even with Gundam shows, it's only one character or two biting it, or even in Baccano, all you have are the 'bad guys' dying and just about every crucial characters staying alive. As great as they can be, it's just not final and as shocking as the one in this show by far.

Really good job on the part of the animation crew and the original storywriter.

i was shocked that angie bit the dust that fast, it sucks that a lot of chiko's friends are gone and oji-san too. is ken okay i didn't see anything about him at the end.

The current manga is being published in コミックフラッパー Comic Flapper magazine. The magazine is up to about eight chapters, and the first volume in book form came out last month. The manga volume and/or the magazine are available from places like Kinokuniya and Book Off and the big online stores, as listed at the bottom of that page. Whoa I liked how they did with the death scenes.

Its as realistic as it can get. When you are gonna assassinate a group you don't wait for them to notice and fire back at you like most anime does >.> . They actually shoot first talk later.

About the train and the engineer. It's possible the engineer didn't hear the gunshots with the storm and all. If the engineer could hear it Nijuumensou should've heard the gunshots too way before Tora got to him. So he should've at least tried to back up his comrades.

At the middle of the show I actually forgot Hirano Aya was voicing Chiko.

Oh i knew it, i just knew Twenty Faces would leave the story like this. No way that man is dead.

It was pretty upsetting to see the guys being killed one by one, though it was also annoying that we knew Ken would not die like the rest of them --- what with his future self being shown in the OP.

i know this is wierd but for some reason i don't know if i believe that twenty faces is dead, it's not possible that he survived the train fire, but there's a part of me that thinks he is still alive. i also hope that ken is okay, he's a great character, the older brother type

This is the man full of mystery, and i say he could have easily escaped from that train. There's a huge chance he survived, especially in these type of shows.

Then again, he was talking about leaving his plan to another person. Chiko didn't notice that he was talking about her, so we have at least one reason why he save her life instead of us. It's going to be interesting from here until the end. We're sure to come across plenty of answers regarding Twenty Faces and his past.

Near-superhuman feats are part of this show's DNA. It seems very possible that Nijuumensou survived, just as Tora survived that unsurvivable collision with a train. But I'm not sure we will ever find out for sure. It could just remain as an ongoing mystery.

I'm sure Chiko realized NJM was talking about her when he said he wanted to make a second him. As I recall, she said when she overheard him: "I hope he means me."

Knowing Twenty-Faces right now, I'm positive he used trickery to get through it. I don't think too much suggests the guy even has superhuman strength or speed or anything. Just a lot of guile and sleight of hand.

Her facial expression at the time tells me otherwise --- that has time goes on, she'll keep on believing he was talking about someone else.

Episode 6 was pretty damn sad but maybe im just not attached to the series yet because i didnt feel that much watching everyone get shot. Im actually surprised because i usual get emotional when characters start getting killed off maybe im just a cold hearted bastard. Looking forward to see where the series goes from here.
