It might be an automated boot, those are popular, that would also explain Hikki being dragged into it (they are usually for 2 people, I can already picture him trying to use that excuse to get away).

Which reminds me of a similar print club photo Hachiman took with Totsukawaii and Zaimokuza in one of the earlier volumes:



One thing is that Hachiman looks way happier in this one. 'Wrong as expected' indeed!

Anyway, I'm getting the feeling that the relationship between Hachiman and the girls is now stronger than ever following his opening up to them. Wondering what Watari-sensei has up his sleeve to test their relationship in the remaining volumes (I'm guessing a combo of Yukinon's mother+sister would be the last boss?).

The last line makes me curious though. Makes me wonder if she's referring to the very first request Yukino was given by Hiratsuka-sensei to "rehabilitate" Hachiman. Could be the request this volume though.

Why would he do that? in these kinds of situations he always put what others feels first, right now he's trying to change, and taking into account how many times he's been rejected he's the best right now to give some healing words to Iroha.
