This I agree. However, it does not disprove 'saving' Othinus entirely. In the process of fighting for himself, he shown Othinus that he understood her and thus ending up 'saving' her.
NT9 showed that Touma can be selfish and could fight for himself, but it does not revolve entirely on that point does it? It doesn't have to be all about saving himself.
Saving himself and saving Othinus were two separate things. And yet in the end, he achieved both didn't he?

Also, I realize some of the parts of my previous post is contradicting. I meant it to be hypothetical.

honestly, I think that saving is the wrong word for it, but that Touma tried to communicate with her, and used the fight for it, after all, this volume was he that needed to be saved.

Yeah, saving isn't quite the right word. It's the closest thing I can use to describe it though.

I'm wondering... Why didn't Othinus show a world where he failed to save those he saved before? Or did she do that already?

In alpha world, he saw Fukiyose hurt badly and in the death door. Won't surprise me if she dead. Certainly Othinus will show many more just like that in those worlds.

And yes, that's what Touma's 'Precognition' thingy does.
IMO, he takes real time data, mix it with his older data to create information about present and future.
Probably somewhat like the process of eliminating and determining possible events.

Othinus can change/create the world into whatever she wants right?
But aside from resetting the whole thing along with Touma back into the 'Black World', she cannot alter Touma himself right? I mean if she could, then she would just directly alter Touma to be more fragile and stuff.
So how did Touma end up being paralyzed his whole life in one of the worlds/phases?

Yes, I know that precognition isn't what it's actually called. But it's shorter than saying Premonition Perception. At least, that's what the original Japanese text called it.
