There's just one line in the spoiler that I had a problem with.

Well nice slow down chapter with everyone recovering. I do think it's anti-climactic that Rudal, who was touted as being such a big threat, was killed offhandedly in a brief flashback no less. Well, I guess he wasn't that important anyways.

About Vince, you sure went a long way to explain things... A bit too far, I'd say. I still prefer the "peace has made Signum soft" angle.

Subaru goes off a on a trip, huh... She's going to into the woods of some remote planet where she's sure to meet a certain orphan boy, isn't she? I'm a little surprised though that Subaru mentions leaving and Wendi and Nove don't make comparisons to Ginga leaving. They fought it when she decided to go away, so I figured Subaru mentioning it would cause them similar panic, only for Subaru to assure them it's a much shorter trip.

Hm... regarding the bit at the end, I thought you were just gonna just leave it in the background. Well we've discussed it before, but if you're planning to go through with that one idea, I still advise against it.

I wish people would 'pester' me because it reassures me that people actually care about and like reading my stories. It's still a predominant belief that the vast majority of people hate what I do and wish I'd just go away. In real life I'm a person who's easily forgotten. Nothing about me stands out and no one would give me a second glance. Because of it I can pretty much forget about going for a Graduate degree because there's no way 3 of my profs remember me enough to write referral letters.

Anyways... the point, yes. I like being reminded that people remember my stuff and want more.

As for Daemon Kaiser, it's going great actually. Shot out most of the next chapter the other night, but then my comp got seriously hit with viruses and I've spent the last few days disinfecting it. School started today too.

It was certainly a lot easier to write than the previous Three's Company chapter. Guess I do work better when there's an actual plot involved.

Nanoha stood over the steaming pot, stirring occasionally. She smiled when she heard the door open and feet scuffle in the foyer. It felt so homey to be making dinner when Fate brought their daughter back home from school.


"Vivio! Fate-chan!" she called. "Welcome home! I baked snickerdoodles, but you can only have one each before supper so you don't ruin your appetite." Then she realized that something was wrong.


"Come on, Vivio, I'm trying to explain," Fate said pleadingly.


"No!" Vivio humphed. Nanoha looked up and saw that the blondes' expressions matched their voices: Fate had her puppy-dog eyes in full force and Vivio's cheeks were puffed out in her stubbornly-upset face.


"What happened?" Nanoha asked.


"Fate-mama is a criminal!" Vivio declared, pointing dramatically at Fate.


"Vivio!" Fate wailed.


"What did she do?"


"She was speeding!" the six-year-old declared. "We learned about it in school, how everybody needs to follow the rules of the road to make things safe for drivers, bicyclists, and pedes...peden...ped...walking people! But Fate-mama was driving ten miles faster than it says on the signs all the way home!"


"Nanoha! Tell her!"


"I don't know, Fate-chan. You do like to drive fast."


"Nanoha!"


"Fair is fair," Nanoha said firmly. "Now, Vivio, Fate-chan isn't a criminal." She wondered for a moment how to explain the difference between a crime and a civil violation to a six-year-old. "The speed limit isn't a law like the ones that say not to steal, it's just a rule, like when your bedtime is."


"So Fate-mama's not a crook?"


Nanoha shook her head.


"No, she's not."


"But she is a bad girl for breaking the rules!" Vivio decided.


"That's true. And you know, it's not fair if we let her get away with it." She crossed the kitchen and snatched the plate of freshly baked cookies out from under Fate's hand. "No snickerdoodles for bad girls!"


"But Nanoha!" Fate moaned.


Vivio tugged at Nanoha's apron.


"Do you think she's sorry, Nanoha-mama?"


"Good point. Fate-chan, I want you to think about what you've done, and if you can properly apologize after dinner, then you can have a cookie for dessert."


Vivio beamed, deciding that justice had been tempered with mercy and so all was well.


Nanoha promptly dissolved into a fit of laughter, which Fate really didn't appreciate. Particularly because it made her miss that the soup base was boiling over until it was too late and dinner—and therefore Fate's cookie!—got delayed by an extra hour.

Poor Fate. All she wanted was a cookie. Well, I think originally she would have preferred a snickerdoodle, but hey, cookies are just as good!

She wondered when it began. When did this begin? She wasn't sure. Still... Looking down at herself, she blushed slightly. "Are you sure, Subaru?"

Subaru nodded, grinning and giving her a thumb up. "Trust me, it'll work, Cinque."

The silver-haired girl nodded, blushing more as she looked at the small black dress she was wearing. "But, he doesn't even..."

"Oh please." Subaru winked at her. "You spend all your free time with him, I'm sure that he'll love it!"

Cinque blushed more. "Well, he is really nice and he's helped me out so many times..." What had surprised her the most was the fact that he was still single.

Flashback...

"Thank you." She smiled at him as he gave her the book she had been looking for. "Is this where you're always at?"

He chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. Gods, he was good-looking. "Most of the time, yes."

"You don't have anyone worried about you?" Her face had to be lighting the whole room up by now.

"Well, my family isn't always around and my friends visit often enough, so, I'm never really alone."

"But, you don't have anyone personally?"

He shook his head. "No, not really. I'm not unhappy about it, even if it would be nice to have someone greet me sometimes."

"Oh."

End Flashback...

Still, she couldn't believe she was doing this. Taking a deep breath, she walked up to the door and pressed the door bell. Her face was even redder as the door opened.

"Cinque?" He looked at her in confusion. "What's..." He blinked as she held up a bouquet of flowers.

"Will you... Go on a date with me, Yuuno-san?" So she was nervous, so what? She was only three years younger than he was and she had never been on a date before.

"Uh..." Seeing the hopeful look in her eyes, he smiled softly. "Sure." Seeing Cinque's whole body turn bright red had him chuckle softly, but he thought one date wouldn't hurt.

Neither of them foresaw that one date becoming a second date, and then a third and a fourth...

Subaru just grinned after every date as she saw Cinque enter the house glowing in happiness and floating on cloud nine.

It was no surprise to her when Cinque announced she was moving in with Yuuno a few months later.

ha got me, revised? hmm i tweaked the original one time. I dunno seem s'ok to me. I worry its too wordy at times, but it stands on its own just a wee bit that way. I really want to have gentle character growth in the story, but I find subtly is hard to write. Oh well, now i want to reread my drafts. :P

Awww, cute. And like I said: hardly a crack pairing. I mean, they're both quiet, slightly built, and have light-colored hair. That's already more than a lot of fanfiction pairings have in common.

hello there, a few questions for Satashi, since ch. 6 of 6-th Division Redemption said to ask here

1) are there any plans to finish Redemption ? it's close to the end and the entire series is soooo good, I liked everything .. or maybe it was finished here on the forums and not posted @ ff.net ? the series were recommended @ tvtropes too

2) the fic '6th Division: Vivio High School Days' says it takes place in the "6th Division" Universe in the far, far future, but Vivio, to my knowledge, was never ever mentioned in any 6-th division fic (at least on ff.net) .. so basically they just found her sometime later and it went like it did @ canon (minus the JS incident) ? or is it just an AU, where Nanoha & Fate are raising Vivio and that's it ? .. or did Shamal work some magic and she's the biological daughter of Fate & Nanoha ? .. I haven't read it btw, sorry if it's explained there



I'm currently @ this thread's 17X page, reading mostly everything, but originally started to because of the Mirrored Souls joint-fic (where 19 & 9 y.o. Nanohas switch dimensions) .. soo, was it ever finished ? .. anyone has a link, which summarises the parts that've been done ?

Naruto awakens in the meadow and meets the ghost of the Sage of Six Paths. The Sage shows him a memory, of him assembling nine creatures as he was close to death.

Sasuke reminisces the "C-Rank Gone Wrong" that got him here. Now that Kiba got himself in a jam and was abducted along with Fujikaze Yukie, no, scratch that, Kazahana Koyuki, Team 7 had to work harder to rescue them.

After Naruto leaves the meadow, he is faced by a gigantic man who says that he is Zen, the god of Origins. He shows Naruto glimpses of Lass' adventures and warns him that there is a large possibility that they will meet soon.

The Konoha contingent finally get to meet Terumi Mei, the leader of the Kiri resistance: Haku gets his heritage returned to him, but still chooses to go by the name Momochi. Naruto is still unconscious when they draft the battle plan: the jonin-sensei support Mei in a sneak attack on the Mizukage, while the chunin and genin run interference in the village proper to divert the ANBU's attention and try to minimize the loss of innocent life. Cinque and Sein are stationed to watch over Naruto.

Naruto then meets the Nine-Tailed Fox, who tries to answer his questions as much as he can. Cue revelations about the bond between the Senju and Uzumaki clans, Madara Uchiha, and a threat even greater than the rumored Akatsuki...

...but before Naruto can progress further, the Fox changes form into a young man much like him - because the seal cannot work as it should if the strength of Naruto's will is less than the Kyuubi's. Long story short, they fight.

Team 7 breaks Koyuki-hime and Kiba out, and have to fight their way to the main hall, where the "treasure" of Yukigakure is located.

Sakura uses Chidori for the first time in actual combat.

Sasuke and Kiba end the fight with Kazahana Doto by a Tsuuga enchanted with black fire by Sasuke's mangekyo.

Naruto and the Kyuubi continue to battle, scenes of both their lives flashing in the meadow.

They finish the fight in a single-stroke exchange.

The Kyuubi begins transforming, finishing up as a brilliantly red-orange nine-tailed fox. He doesn't know what happened, but it seems all his abilities have been changed to Velkan spells.

Naruto meets his parents at long last, who tell their side of the story. Yondaime apologizes for a rush job on his son's seal - he did put in all those fail-safes, but failed to realize that the Kyuubi himself was also holding the Ten-Tails' chakra back. Kushina explains that everything will begin in Uzugakure, and that for all the hardship Naruto went through, it is only the beginning. The fox also appears, all ties to the cursed chakra having been severed. Minato and Kushina, after seeing the Kyuubi's memories, apologize to him... and by using up their life force to empower the new seal, they transfer most of their knowledge to Naruto, Lass, and the Kyuubi.

North of Yukigakure, Team 7 try to look for a person only described tangentially by Sasuke's notes, and end up stumbling onto a "snow princess" named Rui. As it turns out, she is the entity who knows more of the Sharingan's secrets than even Madara himself.

Naruto wakes up to see that the attack is going badly - he goes to Cinque and Sein's aid, see their mechanical bodies, and summons a clone to watch over them as he rushes to the aid of his family.

The fight has Precia dispelling her Knight Armor, and all hope seems lost.

And then one Uzumaki Naruto jumps into the fray, activates his Device and uses Kage Bunshin...

...big fight with Naruto vs. the Fourth Mizukage and the Three-Tails.

Flash forward to Konoha, where Naruto agrees to take the training trip with Jiraiya. He'd been thinking too much as a Knight; he needs to know how to think like a ninja. Plus, what the Sage of Six Paths had told him spurred him to continue studying fuinjutsu.

Chapter (and Part 1) ends as Naruto takes his first steps out of Konoha with his Master Jiraiya...

So instead of just going page by page, you can click there to get them all in one place.

6th Division is... well I PLAN to finish it, but it is so freaking out of date and everything (I started writing it before StrikerS even said Caro's first name, and Erio was slept Elio). I have an ending in mind, I just need to write it. Its hard to pick up a story that is like 4 years old when you have newer ones that everyone is asking for updates on... Although I have gotten the most for redemption...

High school days has been considered to be taken down. It was written before StrikerS was over,I think, but definitely before I finished the series (which was only just recently). I want to re-write it, and am considering re-writing Vivid as well. I may just combine the ideas into one. As for Vivio in 6th Division, you can check the spoiler if you want.

Spoiler for Soilers on 6th Division:

Vivio is adopted from an orphanage when she is about 4 years old. She was taken from abusive parents by child services. Nanoha and Fate found her playing by herself when they went to adopt a child, and Vivio took a liking to Fate, who was also abused.
