Question

Any news about the short stories being released? Like Merry Christmas or anything like that?

hey i know a majority of us are dependent on the few people that we know who are continuing to translate BOMF, with probably what, chapters 03b, 04a, 04b, and 05 to go i bet they'll be doing it in that kind of sequencing. but really, there should be more of us who should be able to translate also!

i mean, i'm also high school and college-educated on japanese language, i've made it to the first course of the most advanced college japanese course, in the 300-level range (if you guys know what that refers to), but yeah so i've just ordered BOMF and CMMD (or TMMD) from sanseido bookstore from mitsuwa, and they'll have it in 2-3 weeks and they'll call me up.

i'm not much better or faster with deciphering kanji, and i know it takes a crapload of time, but eventually i might try to assist, if not trying to help inform people better overall.

as per usual, no one really knows whats going on and everyone can only speculate as to what may or may not get animated it seems after scouring the internet for the past hour, especially here on animesuki since the thread remains consistent.

but ALSO, if anyone knows of any translated OR just raw versions of the short stories that come AFTER ending day by day main story that would be awesome. cause as much as i like the main story the most, it does cost like $8-9 apiece for ordering Japanese novels when you buy them in America. Even if in Japan it would only cost $5-6 for each book, amazon.co.jp's shipping prices are ridiculous to international buyers... and i dunno, somehow i feel as if the short stories shouldn't cost as much as the main stories do... but i would imagine they would... and there's quite a few of them!!

as Miles Teg said back on page 67, Short story compilation

* Volume 2: Houtte Okenai Lone Wolf (1/6)
* Volume 4: Honki ni Narenai Nishi Manrui (2/6)
* Volume 5: Jiman ni Naranai Sankan-ou (2/6)
* Volume 7: Doujou Dekinai Shimen Soka (3/4)
* Volume 10: Dounimo Naranai Gori Muchuu (2/6)
* Volume 11: Ateni Naranai Roppou Zensho (3/6)
* Volume 13: Anshin Dekinai Nanatsu Dougu (6/6)
* Volume 14: Ontei wa Takaku, Shatei wa Tooku (4/5)
* Volume 16: Nayande Rarenai Happou Fusagari (4/4)
* Volume 18: Side Arms 2 - Kyokuhoku Kara no Koe (3/3)

all of that is quite a lot of side-story and i'm sure they entail chidori unleashing her tsundere personality quite often on sousuke.

but yeah anyone who would reply to this would be awesome.

From Fullmeta's news: NOT, in its novel form, will have a number of 400+ pages.
Guess, there should be lots of detail within.

This is good news, but how many pages are there in a raw novel usually? Just how much bigger is NOT going to be in comparison to the average FMP novel?

At any rate, I was wondering how Gatoh was going to wrap up the entire story in one more novel, so I'm glad to hear the end may not be rushed after all.

Ok, just because you guys have been waiting so long. I'm posting the first part of Ch03b on my LJ. I haven't got to work on it as much as I would have liked to. And I really am sick of making excuses.

I'm back home now (at my parents). I'm here visiting my family and friends (and to get a root canal *cringe*) until Feb 4 (I got here Jan 28), and I didn't bring my notes with me, cuz this is relax time.

I'm setting a goal for myself on this. I'm not telling what it is cuz I'll jinx myself ^^;

Anyway, click the link, and I hope you enjoy this little snipet.

This way!

FMP! books have between 300 and 400 pages.

The two books of The End Of Day By Day have a total of 470 pages.

Cool, but way to seriously tempt me. My japanese is extremely poor at best lol so no point other then collector value. Bookmarked anyways.

Cant wait for into the Blue, then we have all the novels up to BOMF in some english form . Once Ravyn finishes BOMF, hopefully someone will get MMD done before Tokyopop, sooner the better imo.(I will buy every book like I have bought Fighting Boy meets girl and One Night Stand, damn you US people get it lucky, I have to import from you guys, $22 US for a book that costs you $10 lol)

What the heck? You are closer to them than we are, and you have to pay more? :P

I agree, though. I definitely want to buy all of the novels when they come out.

Oh, and thanks General, for the link. I might start buying those...

And Ravyn is just awesome. Thanks again for the updates!

Well his country hasn't licensed it. So he has to import. And because of the economic slump right now our exports are pretty expensive. But you will be saving 10 ce.nts since your dollar is stronger about 10 cents than ours. Still you will pay more though.

lol I agree with Kry on the novel link note. It was hard not to click the 'order' button lol

Its times like this tht I wish I knew at least a moderate amount of Japanese. Increased by the fact I'm playing through a load of SRW games ATM and can only understand a few words :/

Thx again to the generous Ravyn!
