Oh God, please let it be true! Monster is one of my favorite animes of all times. It is truly a masterpiece. Now that I remember there were talks of making it into a movie many years ago; I guess it never came into fruition.

Spain's unemployment rate jumps to 27 percent

Quote:
More than six million Spaniards were out of work in the first quarter of this year, raising the jobless rate in the eurozone's fourth biggest economy to 27.2 percent from 26.02 percent in the previous quarter, the highest since records began in the 1970s.

The number of unemployed climbed by 237,400 people to 6.2 million, the National Statistics Institute said on Thursday.

Spain, once the motor of job creation in the 17-nation single currency area, is in a double dip recession, having yet to recover from the collapse of a property boom in 2008.

Sadly, I think if the world loses half of its population a lot of problems would be solved. Think about it: less pollution, no storage in food, natural resources would be depleted less rapidly, renewable resources such as trees and fishes can replenish...

Kim Jong Un might be right all along :O

To any agents from Intelligence Agencies out there: I am not a terrorist!

Not when his plan involves also destroying half the world itself along with those people. That's just cutting everything in half!

It's not a problem of resources. We are more than capable of sustaining the entire world's population with our current technology and then some.

The problem is allocation. The vast majority of resources are allocated to a very small minority of the powerful elite.

Why should we kill off half the world's population to make the one percent's lives easier?

Why not just kill the one percent and take their stuff?

Woah, that's awesome news. I hope it pans out properly. Monster could be done well in live action, though it might be tough to capture Johan's creepiness.
