Nendoroid Miku Rerelease is up, but for some reason it isn't a time based preorder like recent Nendoroids have been, it was by stock only, so she sold out in hours! I missed her
I thought that GSC had finally realized that stock only preorders on obviously popular items left a lot of customers unhappy and preorder-less! Remember the K-ON Nendoroid and figma fiascos before GSC rereleased them with time based preorders? Just madness, and I'm not too happy that I'm left out in the cold for Nendo Miku (at a retail price, mind you), again. Please GSC, give Nendoroid Miku a time based preorder, like with BRS and the K-ON rereleases! It's the fifth time they've released Miku, and they still don't get it? She's tons more popular than K-ON, the series that made GSC even start doing time based preorders over limited stock preorders. Come on, GSC, don't feed the scalpers. [end opinion] |

Flandre nendo.
Seriously, I had promised myself I wouldn't be buying any more figures cos I hafta start saving for uni and all but screw it. Sorry life. *starts camping for PCB releases* There's a DVD in the BRS nendo box? Really? I saw the sticker, but doesn't seem like there's actually a DVD in there (not that I've opened it xD ) Quote:

*gasp* I'm not an Eva fan, but I have a weakness for Asuka. And damn...she looks amazing in a ballerina outfit! Screw it, ordering! Also ordering the plug suit version. And Rinko Nendoroid is finally in! Confirmation of stock in received today, just gotta wait for a payment request email now.

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10125713 But for now I've ordered the Alter Asuka, 4 Alter figures pre-ordered, I already put aside 250$ and I need to get nearly 80 more. Ouch. Regarding the Nendoroid Miku, I totally agree with the comment up there ^ They sell out quickly as hell, the problem is the value is going up later. I would like the Nendo Miku to be honest, but I didn't get even one figurine yet \:

That one is okay, but the quality of the hair bugs me. And the pose/expression is a little plain. Still decent but I'm not a major Wave fan.
Hmm, I've already got Goodsmile's Miku large plushie and Figma's Miku figure. I'm drawing the line there. Really stoked about Rinko finally coming available - Aussie dollar is at a 2 year high for exchange rates! ^^ Definitely time to cash in!

I like both Asuka and Rei but don't really need any of those made-up cosplay versions like mermaids, witches, race car drivers, angels, etc. I'm sticking to the plugsuits and the casual clothes they actually wore in the series/movies
I'm having the same thought. Got four petit nendos of Miku (two of the original version, two in the black suit) the Sega EX (with the piano base) and the Sega Premium figures. I say that's more than enough of her. Especially after the petits I don't need the larger nendo, since it's the same thing only slightly bigger

Personally, I think Kanade is a bit plain, no way this fig is worth more than 5000yen. Unless she comes with attachable angel-wings, now that would be something

Well, completed payment form for 2 figures - my first order done directly with a supplier.
Rinko Nendoroid by Goodsmile - http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10118391a7/20/7 Asuka Plug Suit ver by Kotobikuya - http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10119077a2/20/2 My friend who regular orders from them says they're quick with delivery, so since it's mid-week, probably will see them early next week. For the pair and shipping, just shy of $150 AUS.
