Then again, since he is a puppet, it doesn't really matter, I guess.
Personal safety and hormones take priority. He got his dragon shrine maiden back.

Even with all those issues with story, the worst part of this show is the presentation.

The storyboard and the cuts are atrociously bad through almost every scenes. There's no good flow especially during action scenes. Mediocre stories can be saved by great directing, here it's even more let down by the bad ones.

I didn't quite get the purpose of that dragon claw. How did it bring Red back to normal? Or did something else bring him back to normal?
The best thing Ibuki did here was killing Inori. Less craziness in the world now.

Eykha now looks very weird. She looked better before. Now she just looks creepy.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed here. I expected more. The characters are very uninteresting. I couldn't care less about any of these guys. The concept it had was good though. Everyone having their own reasons for using others. D'natia and Kouran using Nil Kamui to kill the Red Dragon while the islanders want Red alive. The politics and everything was interesting. This had a good idea but the characters and the overall execution wasn't up to the mark. It could have been way better than it ended up being.

It was a back up plan of the Red Dragon just in case he looses his sanity, hence trusting the info about the volcano to his friend Stahl.

Red Dragon was expecting at most a mercy kill but Ibuki getting a jewel and contracting with him changed that.

i think he was preparing for the future, he needs her for him to make a heir, hence the priorities, dude has better family planning

still the story telling for this is total crap & confusing whether to the game players or not, along with lacking animation quality, even busty girl Urobuchi can't save it.

I'm not sure what the deal is with postponing the coronation for a little bit to find his waifu but ok. It's not like he'll be able to do those things AFTER the coronation.

Chaos Dragon v1 sells 275/146, total 421. DVDs from extended. 29.1% BD overestimate. Again, percentage doesn’t matter this low tho.
Here you have it.

That's quite possibly the lowest I've ever seen something sell that was a legit show. Just goes to show the producers had no idea why people liked the original story.

A reminder that Argevollen actually sold worse (257 copies, the lowest in the decade ever).

Nah, there are some shows with even worse sales like To Aru Hikuushi e no Koiuta (240) or Baby Steps (146) or those that didn't even manage to rank.

I guess I'm of the few that liked this series. I agree that the show has it's faults, but it was still enjoyable. It did hook me in to watch it all the way through. I liked most of the characters, especially Ibuki, Eiha, Sweallow, Meryl and Ka Grava (Lou can get bisected at the waist for all I care). The ending wasn't a proper conclusion, so hoping for a sequel.

The fact that this show was even as a joke compared to Record of Lodoss War is a travesty. Even the crappy tv show spinoff of Lodoss War looks like a masterpiece compared to this.

Yet people watched the whole thing. When clearly they should have known by episode 3 that they weren't going to like it.

You can't then make a critique or else you'll have people saying:

"Hurr you can't talk about this show because you didn't watch it all!"

Why would you want to critique something you don't like? No this is an honest question. I sure as hell wouldn't waste my time on something I knew I wasn't going to like.

So you forced yourself to watch nine episodes of something you already knew you were going to hate.....so you could say you hated it?

That's actually a little impressive.

You sound quite petty jumping your gun like that.

First read the chain of replies for god's sake .

And then rethink your post before shoehorning your word "hate" into a topic talking about sales.
