Finally the 1/7 Miku Hatsune PVC Tony version is now in stock at HLJ.

I decided to cancel it and re-order it again so I could add the Aldra PVC (Queen's Blade) PVC to it when it only costs £15. Also added three Mugs, one Angel Beats, one Clannad and the final one is from K-On.

After one week of waiting. They finally got delivered yesterday.
I ordered them after the earthquake, so I was a bit worried that the deliveries won't make it.

Spoiler for Mai and Honoka:

Precure Splash Star's designs are kinda...

not different enough from Futari Wa to justify a new show.

Splash Star is the first alternate series. I think the producers don't want to alienate fans of the original show too much.
So they retained some similarities.

i have a stupid question, since i haven't been collecting figures for a long time.

If i wanted a figure that was out of print, I'm assuming it would have to be a used version from someone. My question is is there any specific place where you can search for people selling their figures? Or how would i go about searching for an out of print figure?

eBay, but watch out for fakes which are normally from China, you can tell the real deals by the price and checking the figure/box with the real thing.

Myanimefigure you can find people selling them too.

Lastly, you could ask an Japanese Proxy to see if he can find one in Japan, you pay him, he buys it, he takes a small fee, for example TokyoHunter charges £10 to £15 and ships it to you.

Other then that, you just have to google for shops to see if they have any in stock, sometimes they will do re-runs of figures, but it doesn't happen often.

Also expert to pay twice the retail value unless you really lucky to find it cheaper if buying from a person.

ebay, MFC's sales, or http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/ are your best bet for older figures. Also you can find sealed boxes even on older figures as some people buy them for resale later. It's much cheaper if it is a "used" figure, though.

I'm totally getting this. I love Miku anyway and if they're donating 1,000 yen to the Japanese Red Cross from every sale, I'm not going to resist!

It contains all the normal Miku Nendo parts (which I don't own) and a few extras. Pre-orders go up on April 8th from Good Smile Companies page linked in Danny Choo's post.

As much as I'd love to donate, I have too many Miku Nendos already... and I don't really like the new face. But I am very happy that GSC is doing this through their site, since that may mean that they'll sell web exclusives to foreigners in the future as well...

For some reason, Miku looks adorable only if she's chibified.

^ I so want this! But since I splurge from the last convention, I'm laying low at the moment

Pre-oders from within Japan started the 25th so I already ordered mine. Although I've been telling myself to cut down on the figure/nedroid purchases I just couldn't resist. That 1000 yen go to the Red Cross make this pretty much a must buy for me.

I got my Kotobukiya Mina Tepes on Friday, and she's gorgeous. I have Wave's Hanyuu in transit at the moment, and I'm hoping Griffon's Suika will be on schedule and ship this month, but it's quite likely she'll be delayed... but that suits me fine, lets me sort my finances a bit better. =p

It's the Death Devil outfits. ^_^
I love Mio's outfit, and Azunyan's to some extent, which would have been better without the shoulderpads lol.

With Griffon's Suwako finally revealed, I decided to (attempt to) cancel my Kanako order. I wasn't terribly pleased with Kanako or Sanae, but Suwako's face is too sub-par, so I'm giving up on the entire crew, if Ami will let me cancel Kana. Sad, the recent Griffon figures have been great, but for some reason the Moriya crew is a big step backward for them. Hope they get themselves together for the SA and UFO crews. ;.;

Not really a collector but I was really blown by this little figure that was recently announced. Arshes Nei is her name, from the good old Bastard!! manga. I must say, as a figure she is 100% better. :3

Spoiler for dark-skinned elven beauty:

You can check more of images in the link below. The site is NSFW
