Well, we don't knowif refrain itself is that addictive on it's own. In season 1 it's said to be addictive mostly because it allows for the one taking it to recall happier times and since the peple taking it are mostly people who live in despair/unhappiness to begin with, it's easy to see why it'd be addictive to them (they only want to recall hapier days after all)...

Then you've completely missed the point of him. He's admitted he's a sinner and nothing he's done has suggested he wants to get back at Lelouch, he merely wants him stopped because he thinks he's a bad person.
He's not very bright and his plans are poorly thought out and outright terrible at times but he's certainly not petty. If he was he would have arranged Lelouch's death at the first sign of Zero returning regardless of proof. |
