Nah, it's a combination of lack of time and the fact that I've spoiled myself reading the manga, so I highly suspect the anime won't be as entertaining.

Ugh, I think I'll stay with the manga, I mean I liked the animation and VA, but the whole gun shot censoring even if obvious is crappy. I mean what's the point of the fire on his forehead if the bullet doesn't goes into his head

, and Tsuna falling all dramatically on the floor like if he would had been shot but the bullet falls midway and it's just pretty lights that go into him. Censoring in anime is becoming an everyday thing

Also has Reborn's gun always been his chameleon? His voice is neat.

I don't know if I'll have time to watch this series, but I guess I'll plug the singer *flails*.

The singer for the ED theme (Tachibana Keita) is the lead singer of the 3-person J-pop dance unit "w-inds." (whom Prince of Tennis fangirls seem to obsess over for reasons which I do not understand =/). Their official site is:

The song "Michishirube" is actually Keita's solo debut experiment, and Keita's official website is:

Keita's not the brightest tool in the shed (actually, dullest would be a more accurate description), so I'm rather surprised that he wrote the lyrics to all 3 songs of his debut single.

Can't believe the torrent screwed up on me and I had to Youtube it instead.

I've gotta say, the semi-introduction of the supporting cast (( aside from Hibari )) felt somewhat random.

I'm completely sold on this anime simply for it's ridiculously cheesy bgms. I'm so getting the OST once it's out.

i retract my previous umm plea, it seems the manga translators plus a group are doing a collaboration to sub the anime!

I watched PPD again recently and noticed something that may or may not be an intentional parody. In the ep where the gang head to the island dig site where they meet the professor, Becky ends up killing Himeko briefly, by deflating her. When Himeko re-inflates herself, she yells:

"Katagiri Himeko REBORN!"

It sounds so much like the title of this that I have to believe it was intentional

This is a fairly new Shonen Jump series. Volume 1 was just released in America and I think it's only been running in SJJ for about a year or two. I was wondering if anyone was planning to sub the newly released anime. It looks like a good series.
