oh, i didnt mean SU as my 2nd fav ska band, as my fav band overall (altho i think one of my freinds' have a cd where they cover some ska). LTJ is still my fav overall also, i couldnt tell you my favorite ska band honestly.. like i sad before, LTJ's older albums i guess if i had to choose (prob pezcore, hello rockview and back farther), i prefer the songs over the whole albums, like a lot of times theres always that ska song that sticks out from the whole cd.. but i do enjoy to just put on a whole cd and relax .. btw FFF whats ur fav skankin pickle's album?

that makes more sense. As far as my favorite skankin pickle album, the two I own are "Sing Along with Skankin Pickle" and "Fever" I have to go with the first one as being my favorite but the second one with some serious butt rock influanced guitar riffs and high pitched screams and lines like "SHE THEN ASKED ME BACK INTO MY HUT, AND THAT'S WHEN SHE TRIED TO SUCK MY BUTT" it makes me laugh more. I also want to get the green album since I always see it used for like $6 but im not sure if it came out after Mike Parks left the band, I don't think I'd want it if it did.
How about you? You listen to a lot of Pickle? Another old favorite of mine is Buck-O-Nine but a few weeks ago I was watching Monday Night Football and they were playing one of their songs, that was kind of weird.

hehheh.... ah ska... been a while. and american ska goes hand in hand w/ punk i'll say. if yqa ever heard of them i like a band called five iron frenzy, but i haven't actually gotten anything past their 3rd album....
anycase, i like the older less than jake stuff, new stuff isn't too bad, mustard plug's ok too. i remember some band some people i went to church w/ like called the O.C. Supertones.... hmm but it was soo overdone. really. like every 3rd song on the local station that played that sort of thing was a aka song... got sick of it after a while. but revisiting it's ok. and i had some friends who made a ska band called 'stinkpalm' ...... heheh. |
