Maybe it is in the post-apocalyptic future. Essentially, all the main characters are all dead and the Orbital Frames became lost technology. This is just speculation.

No, it's not Zone Of The Enders enough for me.

I'm an avid fan of both previous games, and the anime works. When I see something that's supposed to be Zone Of The Enders 3, I expect it to look and feel as such.

This, is totally the opposite. From all that we've seen thus far, which I know ain't much, but first impressions right? I get the feeling of...dragons and spells. Not highly advanced mecha. That's just me. All I'm saying is the premise thus far, has not impressed me.

That was a joke =02. In all seriousness though, I think taking the series in a new direction will keep things fresh. That's like saying MGS3 being in a jungle is un-Metal Gear-like when compared to the first two in the series. I actually imagined something like Broken/Break Blade given the description, which would be really cool as I prefer the Break Blade/Escaflowne type of setting over the futuristic colony stuff(which is prob why I enjoyed Turn A the most in the Gundam series).

It feels like years since they've been updated, btw.
Also, cake.

Not a huge surprise when we have heard anything for a year in a half already, I guess.
