There isn't really one yet. This story does not look like it has much emphasis on romance. Based on another work by the same author, romance seems to have the lowest level of relevance in his stories. This makes his stories less compelling and with less "character".

Forget about romance, all of IET's stories lack any kind of in depth characterization. The relationships between characters are shallow as fuck, and 99% of them are thoroughly forgotten along the story.

Seriously having a "treasury" full with different kinds of ancient weapons (even though currently only low-level ones) from the former people invading the Ancient Manor... and using them to shoot at others. Not to mention that in the yet restricted treasure room of the manor there is even one magic weapon that was created during the era when the universe was created... "Ea"/"Enuma Elish", anyone?

This just recently moved to Wuxia World. Also, this is really good. I'm surprised this thread is so short. To be fair, the number of translated chapters is less than that of other IET series though. Even with the genres this has, I think that this is as good of a read as Panlong (Coiling Dragon) is. It honestly might even be better. TBH the whole beginning scene reminded me a bit of DBZ (in a good way). (Note that it didn't remind me of DBZ's opening, rather it reminded me of the well-developed spirit world or whatever it was called.)

The characters are rather nice and the main protagonist is just great. He's at least comparable to Linley tier protagonist, though I'm not yet sure if he's better than him. (I like Linley a lot as a protagonist Fyi).

This looks like the original series is quite long, so I'm pretty excited. This is possibly longer (much longer?) than coiling dragon. Either way, I strongly recommend this series. It's interesting in how it does things and feels unique compared to IET's other series.

This is probably honestly tied for my second favorite Xia Xia series so far.

Ning is forced into a situation where he has to kill a prominent member of the school that exterminated his mother's clan in self defense, and has to go into hiding. His love interest(GT translates her name as Nine Gates, not sure of right name) puts her clan first(because they'd be killed over the association if she didn't) and their relationship goes cold over the years. It didn't really end on a sour note exactly, it just didn't work out.
