I'm usually down for any Seo Kouji work and any Harem romcom, so this show was instantly a lock for me !

Also wasting no time immediately having our protagonist get a boob-first introduction to the first girl and seeing all of the girls in their underwear in literally the first few minutes of the show. He even got roundhouse kicked by a naked girl! I'd switch places if I could !

The Opening is pretty cute and fun! With plenty of shots of our Heroines getting involved in hijinks and doing cute dances! We even got a naked Hayato, because why not ?

Okay, so we've got Ouka the fiery ill-tempered one who is probably the series' tsundere, Ami who is the airheaded heroine of justice who needs to be more conscious about showing too much skin, Riho who is the sexy and flirty one, Akane who is the stoic and playful cool beauty, and Kiku who is the nice and passive one...at least until you get her drunk and then she gets super horny and trying to smell up a guy. What a cast of eclectic Goddesses .

Hayato has a surly disposition and is a little rough around the edges, but knowing his backstory you kind of understand where he was coming from. He only had his grandmother as his only family and he saw how much she struggled for money and was looked down for it, so he tried to get an education to become rich and show up all those people who insulted her...but lost sight of how it was never about the money, it was about the cozy, family, vibes. And in these girls who became like granddaughters to her grandmother and were her family up until her death while Hayato was away, maybe Hayato can find a new family of his own. And fall in love. And get into romcom hijinks .

I'm glad Hayato was self-aware enough to expect all the girls to come in with towels and Riho was self-aware enough to plan to surprise him .

So they're a beach cafe, right? So obviously we're going to inevitably see all of them in swimsuits, right? Like they're literally borderline a beach episode every episode .

Hayato is now planning to use his financial learnings to put the cafe back on track and turn these girls into Goddesses fit to make the cafe a success! Along with all the crazy stuff they'll get into living together of course...and the fanservice !

"The Cafe Terrace and it's Devils" actually I think people would watch that show .

Obvious where this show is heading, but the first half of the ep was pretty good, random bitches taking over your property? Toss them the hell out.

Anyways, its a pretty generic ecchi romance-comedy so far, but there is just this nostalgic feel to it that I actually like
Maybe it's because violent heroines have fallen out in recent years due to people these days being over-sensitive of anything

So yeah, I had a fair amount of fun watching the episode. Says more than most of the anime this season so far, sad as it may sound

But one problem
Why isn't there a loli? All of them have big breasts. Give me some variety dude!

That's a way to start things off. Main character talking about ripping down his Grandmother's place seconds after talking about her having recently died. Heck of a guy there. Then it's right into harem hijinks with a half naked girl. Then moving right to the natural step of a fully naked girl. The show just moving along at a brisk pace right from the start.

I mean yeah there was an argument that led to them being distant. But it's also no wonder she took those girls in. Who else would she have in the world at that point? And thank goodness she did. Otherwise things could have gotten messy in the time it took for the authorities to even reach out to the MC.

Guess cutting him out of the will would have been too out of character for her. Even considering what he might do when he came back to the cafe. Pushed herself to try and raise her grandchild after all. Guess all she had was the hope that he'd not turn out as badly as he was trending at the time she died.

Will admit it was kind of refreshing to have the MC get knocked around. Legally he was in the right, but he definitely deserved some shots to the face for the sake of karma.

Should be a decent enough ride. A few entertaining personalities in the mix too. Good laugh at least from Kiku turning out the way she does while drunk. Although quite the twisted personality from the one girl to sacrifice her friend for the sake of setting up blackmail material.

Well... its definitely a harem. I guess making the MC a tsundere counts as original? Doesn't seem to be an uncensored version in the wild though. None of the girls really stand out just yet.

So Ami is the only high school student in the group? And ironically she's the one we've seen buck-naked. Twice .

If they're going to live together, then they all have to put in the work, both Hayato and the girls...which isn't easy because all the girls are pretty lazy and don't seem to know more than the basics of running the cafe, and now I'm kind of feeling bad for the amount of work the grandma had to do for them .

I feel like there's some God out there who has cursed Hayato with enduring constant pain everytime he sees a girls' panties or naked bodies .

Shiragiku feels like the nicest of the girls, maybe too much so since she's unfailingly polite and reserved that it feels like it's easy for her to get taken advantage of or just not be heard, though she can be forceful when she wants to be. Just don't try to to force her into talking without Keigo, which has hilarious results .

Ouka feels like the most standard girl of the bunch. Looks-wise she's great, especially when we see her naked, but I'm not really sure if an irritable and angry tsundere-type will work like this unless she gets a big episode with Hayato .

Ami is literally no help. All she seems to do is be an idiot and beat up Hayato for accidents. Is seeing naked girls worth that? Well, okay, maybe .

Akane is quite the cool beauty, being very stoic and playful, but she and Hayato seem to bond over her teaching him how to make a proper cup of coffee and remembering what his grandma told Akane about him. She already thinks he's cute! Akane also has a high defense stat, though Hayato calling her cute seems to have had more of a delayed reaction .

Say what you will about Riho, she has great people skills and knows how to converse, even if she throws Hayato under the bus while doing it. But that's just because he still needs to prepare himself for what it will really take to run the cafe and honor his grandmothers' memory. And Hayato's earnestness and understanding of his faults seems to have won Riho over, to the point where she flashes her fancy panties at him and seems to consider if her romantic success at work fortune might be on the money .

The ED is pretty nice and soothing! Showing all the girls in pretty illustrations with what I assume is their passion/career choice...Ouka with fashion, Ami with martial arts, Riho with movies/acting, Akane with her music, and Shiragiku with books. And then we have them all playing on the beach together with Hayato looking on !

3 of the 5 girls blend into one big Narusegawa bitchball, short haired blonde one is irritating but marginally better, green is ok. The MC himself is far from flawless, but at least (fortunately or unfortunately) eats as much shit as he talks.

I'm waiting for something to happen with Ouka because there's really not a lot to like about her aside from her design.

Hayato and Ouka are as volatile as ever, which really isn't a good way to start the cafe off, but these two just can't help but bring out the worst in each other. It's a long and hard road to get through to a tsundere .

Well, Akane has an image to maintain! She can't right well admit how Hayato calling her cute was a critical hit even when she can't stop blushing .

I feel like Riho is going to be the one to keep Hayato focused on the business and presentation of the Cafe as they try to keep it going .

I really thought Hayato was digging himself deeper, but it turns out Ouka's weak spot is her costume design. Rather than complimenting her, if you compliment her design and fashion work, you find an in with her! And the smiling, joyful, face and personality on Ouka looks so much better on her than her scowling and angry face .

I do have to commend Ouka's design though! The waitress uniform is very eye-catching and cute !

The moment they mentioned Ouka pouring legit wine on the salad, I think we all knew Kiku was going to stumble in there practically naked and all over Hayato to ruin the moment with Ouka. It even looked like she was giving him a love bite! And of course Ami is just taking pictures for reference instead of actually doing anything .

I guess if the grandma told all the girls about Hayato and what he was like, she may well have planned for them to end up as a family running the cafe together when she was gone...I wonder if she had one of them pegged out as a future wife for Hayato though ?

Ah yes, Ami has totally been instrumental in helping mediate between Hayato and the girls...by beating him up and accusing him of being a pervert all the time. That's been a great help! Though you gotta love how she goes to have a serious conversation with Hayato while wearing the most skintight sportswear to show off her boobs, butt, and body .

Ami is an idiot. A cute and enthusiastic idiot, but an idiot nevertheless .

Well, so much Hayato's stocks. And his computer. And his phone. And his money. Yeah, they're pretty much starting out at rock bottom for this cafe, huh ?

Well, Hayato's taken what the girls have taught him and applied it to make a successful opening of the Cafe. He's amiable and welcoming to customers, he's managed to perfect his grandmothers' coffee, and he's even able to restrain himself when a scumbag of a loan shark comes back and talks smack about his grandma, to the point where he's the one who has to hold the girls back from attacking him. He never should've sexually harassed Kiku though .

Kiku talking about how Hayato hasn't changed in 15 years...did she know him back then ?

Ami might be idiot to catastrophic degree, but she is at least endearing, Ouka in other hands is nothing but pain in ass and I don't think few uniforms can make up for that. Out of all girls Riho is MVP, followed by Akane. Kiku is troublesome, but relativelly harmless at least.

Interesting how things have changed. Back in Ep.1 Riho was the biggest bitch, then in Ep.2 it was Oka and now I would say they are all on even ground. Akane and Kiku are the only ones without any blunders.
