at this point, i really hope the author will finally let shioon kick some @$$. Sorry but i'm just going to be ranting a bit here. what i don't understand about this author is why, he gives his mc's "immense potential", and yet he also makes it so difficult for shioon to win a fight against an important plot villain. Either shioon gets curb stopped by a opponent who way stronger than him, or on the other hand, shioon gets interrupted by a third party before he can defeat his opponent. this goes the same for the mc of this author's other work, ruler of the land.

The way I see it ever since the story went from monthly to weekly the story tends to stall and fights are farther away from each other. Since New Waves is ending soon I'm sure this coming fight is gonna be epic. Don't get me wrong I love the world building and we know alot more about the murim in general and politics and we've gotten to know some pretty badass characters so it was a trade up, I for one enjoyed New Waves and fights for me are generally second to character development and plot.

1- shioon will fight against his master, but without real intention.(or without thinking-beast mode).and the fight will end with a shioon crying in his master arms

2- 9art warning about "release your ki" is real, and he will stop shioon before his body burn to ashes..


seriously, fight against 9art apart of being something naive, show how silly shioon really is...
9art never really tried to kill you, and he even warned you about not follow him..

and after looking for 9art for so long.. shioon have trust issues now?

good job elder kwon...creating pain and sorrow between your "acquaintances" for your own convenience

I'm really hoping the author/artist can move back to a monthly schedule for part 3. Especially since they've complained a lot about the weekly format and I think a lot of us readers were happier with the monthly format as well.

I think the reason Nine Arts Dragon wanted to calm Shioon down was remorse of seeing him possibly turning to another version of himself along with the fact of him knowing Kaiser is watching the sitution. He didn't want kaiser to draw too much attention to Shioon to maniplute him like how Nine Arts Dragon is now. But Nine Arts Dragon kept doing stupid crap for his revenge that just can't be forgiven like that.

Shioon is a much different fish than 9AD though. Shioon has had a ton of positive experiences and positive connections to other clans and their leaders after becoming part of Murim. I don't think Kaiser would find manipulating Shioon as easy as 9AD was.

That's a shitty translation. The exact wording is closer to "That's enough, release your Ki, believe me." He probably meant that cuz he doesn't want Kaiser to see what Shioon can do.

The point of this chapter is that Shioon finally truly realized that his master isn't the nice kind of bumbling teacher that was his perspective of him throughout the earlier parts of The Breaker and the memory of him that he's carried up until this point. He's finally realized that all the people that told him how dangerous and monstrous his master is were actually right on the money and it was him that wasn't seeing clearly, not the other way around.
