Tbh, I can't say I like the idea of seeing Dante's Divine Comedy in a videogame. It's true that I do have a fetish for mythology,Dante and Goethe and it kinda irritates me seeing such things.
Better get back to the topic, lovely images( by your point of view ^_^) as always rick but u should be a lil more careful with Minos's analogy of the body. U do sometimes lack of this and it's quite normal but i'm sure it'll get better soon since u draw WAY a lot!
Keep up the good job and try adding more fluffy sketches. I do get scared easily *shivers*

I think the game will be cool, I love the book and I love videogames, the only thing that I have to regret about the upcoming EA's game is that they're going a bit too much out of canon in comparation to the poem, but, oh well.

Great gallery Evil Rick! I didnt like the text on the first avatars you showed but the newer look cool and those cartoons are awesome, its the best! I hope you do more cartoons and the animated sigs are pretty interesting, I'd like to try those sometime. Great job!

Cerberus, tormentor of Gluttons

Finally! I had finished my very first drawing using the pen tool and some other tecniques of Digital Art! I feel really happy right now, I would like to thanks all people who helped me to inprove in my skills as an ilustrator.

The ravenous Hell Hound, is a torturer of Gluttons, he feests on the souls of the damned, and vomits them into the pit of human waste to eat them again. So he may always eat with insatiable hunger.

I find it very hard to figure out where the light source is.. I assumed that its from top right corner. If that is the case, then the lower neck area should be darker.. so is its right top arm area.. the left side of the left head should also be a bit darker..

It's okay, it's okay, those kind of critique ere very needed.

So, takes note to wotk on light sources next time, thanks for the advice.

Instead of dodge and burn tool.. try this.. Use brush on darken mode for shade.. then use around 20% Opac and 50% flow .. same base color then goes over and over to build up shade.. do the same for highlight.. but use lighten mode.

Rick, its not dark enough, grab black brush (opacity depends on light distance) and shade the bottom of the creature with pure black, horror should be dark, and that creature is likely still bright. Then, give it a texture, is the creature skin is scale or flesh? gave it texture will make very big difference

here's an example with black shadow, only a rough example though

Well, it's not exactly horror, I'm looking for something disturbing, you know? with all the souls dropped and driving on the river of human waste and details like that.

Cerberus is kinda made of human skyn, you can see it in his hands who're totally humanoid. But yes, I still have serious troubles when it comes to catch the source of light and to execute the shadows, I just need a bit of practice I guess. XP

Now for commenting... I like the way you portray flow, the best I've seen in these forums, especially since not many artists go as far as depth+flow. Tagging is quite good too. But the effects you use are quite repetrive, I'd experiment more.
