Those scientists ruined the kids life... and after what happened they still tried a new experiment! Hitler would be proud..lol
Poor Sonozaki. Seeing her as a happy child with a giant smile in her face hit me hard especially when we compare to her current state right now. |

Kinda amazing kid Noriko was being sustained by her love for Katsuhira while she bear the brunt of the experiments, which makes it all the worse when you compare it to how she is right now.
Urushii wants to protect Noriko while Noriko wants to find a solution to fix the previous Kiznaivers but what's Yamada's angle on all this?

Ep 10
Ayup ... I thought this was an excellent episode. Very moving ... really felt for all the victims in the disaster of an idiotic experminent. Btw, can someone please punch the green haired teacher for being a complete jerk? Man ... there was absolutely no reason to rub salt in the wounds like that.

Episode 11
Katsuhira and Noriko's relationship still feels strange to me. I do like how they build more into their relationship because of their similarities but at the same time, I find them rather uninteresting. Meanwhile, I do like how it gives more insight into how the Kiznaiver system influenced their lives. Not bad to build up into the series' finale especially from Noriko's perspective. However, I have a mixed feeling about how she wants the whole system to continue with her plans. I miss the little Noriko and her adorable smile.

Ep 11
Yes - among other things this ep showed how thoroughly Noriko has been warped by the environment she grew up in, while Kacchon still has a few things to balance him out. The place he came to after all his thinking was actually what Noriko wants, I think, but does not fully realize (and understandably so). Unwittingly she is forcing the same cycle to continue that caused such damage to everyone by using the tools and means she knows, or so it seems to me (could be wrong here). Its ... really sad to see.

Oh god, one of them said Nori-chan's name. That was unsettling.
It pains me seeing the young Sonozaki finally getting a bunch of friends and comparing her to her current self. I hope the finale ends well for everyone. Her talent of sleeping while standing up is also to be commended. |

Anyway on to one of my other favorites, Nico! I could gush about that girl all day, but I'll keep it short. But I seriously hope she gets her happy friend ending. I think out of everyone she has done the most to truly try to push them together as a group of friends. Even in this episode she was keeping everyone abreast as to what was going on with Kacchan and the things they learned. She shows that she's more then just her gimmick as well, as she had various instances throughout the show were she showed considerable understanding of what was going on around her, and always stayed true to herself, even if things didn't always go as planned.

It's really sad to see Nori chan punishing herself like that all in some attempt to atone for what happened all those years ago. Kacchon came to an answer after thinking over everything and it seems to be the right one. He has already started to restore the friendship he had with the others and now it's time for him to save Nori chan.

Hafta agree about Nico ... whatever one can say about her she has been the most active of late, together with Hisomu (which was a nice surprise) in first and foremost being there for Kacchon and trying to keep the connections secondarily. Most of the others withdrew back into themselves (understandably, in a way).

Episode 11:
Well it seems that Kacchon is starting to connect with his current friends even though the system is no longer working. However, it sad that he can only express sadness that affects the rest of the Kiznaivers! On the other hand, Nori-chan connecting with the whole Sugomori City could be fatal for her. I hope the Kiznaivers will save Sonozaki next week! |

Huh, Sonozaki pulling her best Jim Jones impression, real subtle there...
Also, once again, who would have thought that the most emotionally mature character of the bunch would be the fairy girl Nico keeps surprising me each passing weak

And Nico is also a favorite of mine, especially because her kind of character generally is not since they tend to never go beyond their gimmick, instead she is strong and smart and fun (her method to find Hisomu was glorious in its simplicity or even when she tried to "trick" Maki constantly in denial, exchanging the phone numbers with everyone just to claim that they then were friends due to that). She is proactively the glue of the group but not just with her heart but thoughtfully. So of course I join you in the hope she will have her happy friend ending.

Overall was a good ride, enjoyable some times, it has some flaws but it was fun.
In the end everyone have someone at their side, and also they finally have a real connection. I'm surprised Okada was involved in Kizaiver considering how bad and terrible was Mayoiga. Kiznaiver deserves a 6.5/10. |
