SteelHeart - Angel Eyes
The lyrics are quite cheesy and fluffy . If it wasn't a rock band this would be taken as something that BSB would sings . Also I love screechy whiskey laced voice a Matijevic . Like a poignant mixture of Axl/Tytler . His rendition of the track has come out really sweet from a power ballad to rock . I came across SteelHeart while going through some tapes of Rush . I always felt it was 70/80s band but never knew it was from 90s . My favorite line has to be Angel eyes / My Heart relies / On the love you give to me especially the way Angel Eyes is screeched out . Without further Audie here is Angel Eyes ( I will Never let you go) . This is really embarrassing shouldn't even be posting this . Was lost in thoughts and my thoughts kinda got personified by this track This is obscure track by far, it is from once popular Dane Pop Act/Band Micheal Learns To Rock. Yeah I used to have such CDs before my baptism into the world of rock was complete . And there is some irony in the title, when Micheal learned to rock he stopped listening to MLTR xD . The video is not great to speak heck Jascha has a jewfro in it . But the lyrics are really beautiful, if the band had a better producer this would have been pure gold . The lyrics have depth and simplicity the music quite frankly doest do it deserved justice . My favorite line has to be But I'm hoping so much you'll stay that you will love me anyway . One of favorite tracks from back in the day . It doesn't sound all that great now but it still retains the magical touch . M.L.T.R. Actor He takes you out and he takes you up 'cause he can show you so much I go to bed and tomorrow again there's a lot of work to be done He gives you gold and he'll promise you the whole world will be yours I just can tell you I love you so even though my odds are low I'm not an actor I'm not a star and I don't even have my own car But I'm hoping so much you'll stay that you will love me anyway The dirty games and the neonshows this is the world he knows Watching the stars satisfies my soul thinking of him makes me feel so cold The fancy cars and the restaurants you're just so fond of the man Sometimes I wonder if you are blind can't you see, he's got dirt on his mind
