Hidenori has change from slightly odd to very odd this episode--Balcony and his first wish in Cakes ("let loose and wet my pants"?!). I believe his manga in manga was this as well such that Yoshitake couldn't understand.
PS: They're different Nagos by kanji: 奈古 and 名護

For those that wants the skits to go back to Highschool boys doing daily stuff, this episode fulfills your wishes.
There aren't any major laugh out loud moments, but there were a few unexpected exclaims like the 'bee misfortune', 'balcony envy', 'bags failure' and 'bug invasion' The last one in particular reminds me of myself when I was fighting a cockroach invasion as a kid, or a mosquito invasion as a teenager Highschool girls tackle the topic of 'short skirts' Next week... Hints at revealing Habara's past !?! EDIT: Different Nago? Sisters maybe? But she looks like the convex girl ! Minus a smile.

Much blood is spilled in this episode.
And passion and much knowledge about centipedes and insecticides are needed to rid the house of those many-legged pests. Minus a sister who seems oblivious to the consequences of opening windows facing the forest. |

Mildly amusing skits all around this week. Nothing LOL funny, but at least everything was interesting. Hidenori (the most interesting male IMO) being in all the skits save before the OP and after the ED really helped matters.
I particularly liked the Balcony part, obviously, as that touches on the childhood friends trope. The two 'unfaced' people having a quibble in their balcony just makes me go d'aaww. And Habara past next week. Can't wait! (Which reminds me, this episode pretty much confirms that it's Habara's house that's the girl's hangout. Which means it's her and Karasawa who are next door neighbors. )

My dad has issues with high school girls obsessing over short skirts to the point that they become eyesores at the staircase, uh hello that shouldn't be your business to begin with, the dress code is already irritating enough as it is.
Ah the cockroach invasion, i always wondered where the fuck those irritants came from as a young'n they always ruined our unprotected food and bowl of dough whenever possible, to think that netting the windows would have solved most of our problems, come to think of it a tarantula entered our house because one window was unnetted thankfully we spotted it in time and locked that window down. Window friends, haha had quite a few aldo most of them were short lived due to paranoia from both parties. And at last the teams shallow interactions are finally explained, hahaha they probably have to go to the hospital after getting soaked in that insecticide.

WHO are those 'unfaced' people then?
At first I thought it was supposed to be Habara and Karasawa (shipping thinking at its finest!), then I realized that the guys house was yellowish while the girl's house was grayish tint. This in contrast to Habara's house being painted yellow on the outside, and Karasawa's house painted grayish in episodes 4/5. (yeah logical side is a downer sometimes) That said, I swear they used Habara and Karasawa's seiyuus, but again that might just be my shippy side talking.

No matter how I look at it, they look like Habara and karasawa, but at the same time their interaction doesn't match our impression of their 'relationship', which is anything but 'neutral-friendly'

Okay episode this week. My favorite skit was probably the tree and the bags. Kind of funny how Hidenori justifies to have Imouto, don't think she has a name, to lift him up. And the end of that sketch was just classic.

Btw, Hidenori does know at least the boy in that balcony scene. He says he came to give the boy handouts from the class that he skipped on that day. But given how responsible Karasawa is, I can't imagine him skipping classes. And given how scared other boys are of her, the girl couldn't have been Habara either. And if they were indeed those two characters, there wasn't any need to hide their faces anyway. This episode felt weaker than all the others for me. There wasn't a single skit that made me enjoy myself thoroughly and I even fell asleep during the episode, literally so. Granted I hadn't slept through the night and was tired and all but man that next to never happens with good shows.
