Well, I never thought I'd do it. But after talking with Tsuchiro in IRC late at night, I was convinced into doing a tribute to the light that is Ranka. I offer this AMV on behalf of myself and my bethrens lurking out in the Macrossuki channel. Go Skull Fairy!

Thanks! Macross Frontier has been a great source of materials for AMVs.

Hopefully there will be more good songs I can get inspired by.

ok I only have 2 problems with that vid. And they're like really pissing me off. Not enough Ranka hatred!!! and Ranka was blurry during the interview. Some of the flashbacks happened at weird times and that bothered me. Overall it was good, felt like Alto and Sheryl were in love.

That one is a love story. So having Ranka hate distracts from the theme, which was to focus completely on Alto and Sheryl. If you want "Ranka hate", go here.

That was intentional. The point was not to focus on Ranka, but rather, to focus on Sheryl. Besides, Sheryl was ill enough at the time she probably had blurry vision anyways.

I really do love the AMV's and the songs used but I reaaally wish I knew the meaning of the songs especially natsu no hana & prisoner of love! It would make watching the AMV's even more enjoyable than it already is. I still love them though, MF has given me my first exposure to Japanese music & songs & m loving it !
