That's kinda odd since usually the exclamation mark is used for sequels as opposed to earlier eps...

I've begun this series, and it's made me wonder why late 80's / early 90's daily-life-based anime hit all the right notes for me. Something about the good-natured character types, slower-paced world - even the artwork. It can't be nostalgia, I was only born in 1989...

Maison Ikkoku, Touch, Kodocha, and now, probably, Yawara. I guess this branch of shows is like my Kryptonite.
