Yes yes yes, let me watch this already
Tokyo Ghoul Aldnoah Zero Sengoku Basara (Heck yessssss) Re: hamatora interested Argevollen Sailor Moon (The mediocre preview material dampened by previously through-the-roof anticipation for this... still looking forward to it though) Akame ga Kill Zankyou no Terror will give this a try Tokyo ESP (Source material looks good and I'll most likely enjoy this, but not too excited for it yet.) will watch if I have time Barakamon (Not my genre, but the production and staff has me interested) Gekkan Shoujo (Again, not my genre, but may give it a try) Ao Haru Ride (Nothing in the premise would've caught my eye at all, but heard good things about it, so maybe, maybe I'll like it- worth a look, at least) Psycho Pass (I've seen the original run, so don't know if I'll follow this one, but I can't wait for the actual second season this fall) I am being forced to watch this against my will ![]() Sword Art Online 2 (I'm actually giving in to weeks of whining and begging here... ![]() ![]() Edit: forgot about the carry-overs Baby Steps and Captain Earth. That's actually a lot of shows for me... Wonder how many of those ill end up sticking with ![]()

Let's see here.... Akame ga Kill!: White Fox, I love you just as much as I love Mc'Donalds. Which is a really odd comparison because the difference between you and Mc'Donalds is so high. So I'll give this like 2-3 episodes before deciding if drop or not. Aldnoah.Zero: Interesting premise, definitely interested in trying it out for a couple of episodes. Ao Haru Ride: This description with Production I.G? I'm up for some romcom feels trip. Prisma Illya 2wei: I quite enjoyed the first season. Besides, even if I decided to sit out, Konakaga would force me to watch this anyways. (If you see this Kona, I'm simply making fun of how you said you were going to force me to watch this with you) Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun: I've seen this somewhere... Some really old anime that caught my attention sounds very familiar to this.. I remember I really enjoyed that anime so I'll probably enjoy this. #logic Hanayamata: I blame Konakaga. Nobunaga Concerto: Hey... I just got through watching Nobunaga The Fool, I might as well carry it on to this. Sounds interesting enough. Persona 4 The Golden Animation: Can't hurt to try is my motto of the day. Rail Wars!: What can I say... I'm a sucker for uniforms, and especially with how hilariously fun this sounds. Sengoku Basara Judge End: Yes! Space Dandy 2: YES!! Sword Art Online II: NO! *ahem* As much as I can complain about the SAO and ALO arcs. I still enjoyed them nonetheless, hopefully this won't fall into the same traps those two did. Open to recommendations! Will probably scout around more animes to see what intrigues me.

Aldnoah zero : Premise is interesting, worth the check out.
Glasslip : Well gorgeous scenery porn here and there is guaranteed... but do look forward to seeing how much the show may go into depth involving glass making. Hanamonogatari Himegoto : This is going to be my shameful guilty pleasure of the season. Hanayamata : The recent pvs released are pretty nice, has definitely reinforced my hopes in this being a fairly relaxing series to view for the following weeks (hopefully). Prisma Illya 2wei : The 1st season was a very enjoyable adaption. Look forward to seeing it hopefully continuing on strong. Rail Wars! - For the lulz. That's it. Space Dandy 2 : Dandy is awesome, and I love QT! Can't wait to see more of them. edit: Sengoku Basara Judge End - I somehow missed that this was airing in this season. A must watch for me~

Aldnoah Zero, Argevollen: don't interest me at all, but they have mechas so I'll check them out. Experience says I'll be dissapointed and bored, and drop at least one at episode 5-6.
Tokyo Ghoul: sounds interesting, like the kind of show that good or bad it's fun anyway. Sailor Moon: so cautious. much mixed feelings. Space Dandy: is space dandy. Sword Art Online 2: SAO was as fun as awful. Hoping this will keep up. Zankyou no terror: cautious expectations. That's the most I can muster for a show about teen terrorists. Hanamonogatari: half because I liked most of monogatari, half sunken cost. Everything else: I'll check most of it, see what it sticks. |

I've made a complete preview of the new season, with full info on 43 new shows: image, story, staff, cast, trailer, comments, and various links.
Personally, the shows I'm most looking forward to are: -- Glasslip (PA Works, by the director of True Tears) -- Ao Haru Ride (classic shoujo from Production IG) -- Nobunaga Concerto (interesting story, directed by a TV drama director, using rotoscoping that seems a lot easier to look at than in Flowers of Evil) -- Hana Yamata (shoujo ai directed by the young female director of Sakurasou and No Game No Life, and written by Yoshida Reiko, who wrote Marimite; from Madhouse) -- Tokyo Ghoul (award-winning young director and writer animate a horror manga) -- Zankou no Terror (something from Watanabe Shinichirou that is a bit more serious than Space Dandy) -- Love Stage! (Kasai Kenichi and Yokote Michiko animate a yaoi story for JC Staff) -- Sailor Moon Crystal (I was not in love with the original, but this is a big event, so I'm in) -- Tokyo ESP (Kido Ibuki in a starring role. That is all.) -- Locodol (not for the show so much as for Minase Inori -- see avatar and sig) -- Aldnoah.Zero (science fiction story by Urobuchi Gen) I've made character/seiyuu pages for four anime so far -- Glasslip, Locodol, Tokyo Ghoul, and Sailor Moon. See links below. Watch my sig and my blog (link in sig) for more to come. These character/seiyuu pages give pics of main characters and their seiyuus, along with a bit of info about each seiyuu.

Preliminary list (subject to change):
- Free! S2. I enjoyed the first season, so why not? - Glasslip. A P.A. Works original. They have yet to really let me down so far. - Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita. Random pick, might drop this after the first episode. Voice cast seems interesting, though. - Strange+ S2. Season was a lot of fun, so I'm definitely in for more. - Barakamon. Comedy, SoL, what could possibly go wrong? - Francesca: Girls be Ambitious. Zombie idol as representative for the island of Hokkaido. It sounds crazy enough to work. - Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. Comedy built on misunderstandings could be nice. And Doga Kobo will probably make it a feast for the eye. - Jinsei. Sounds like fun and a bit of ecchi never hurt anyone. - Hanayamata. Watched both PVs, which are quite sparkly. This could be the sleeper of the season. - Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? Because I need my harem fix. - Yama no Susume S2. S1 was adorable, so with twice the number of episodes and thrice the length, there's plenty of opportunity to take this in various interesting directions. - Tokyo ESP. Flying penguins? Flying fish? People that can pass through solid objects? This could be either be really good, or really bad. I hope the former. - KanColle (if it indeed comes out in the Summer). Mostly because of the hype, as I don't play the game. Still, for a bunch of warships, those girls sure look pretty. - Hanamonogatari. Obviously. - Sailor Moon Crystal. Childhood nostalgia wants me to watch this, but I don't like the designs all that much, so I'm a little hesitant. Not interested in the rest (and definitely not the mecha shows). Might watch SAO II if I'm really, really bored.

Overall, I'm kind of disappointed with my first impressions of this cour's shows. Then again I'm currently watching the K-Drama Doctor Stranger, and everything I watch seems to pale in comparison XD
So hyped up to see but expecting to be disappointed Sailor Moon - Keeping my expectations low, but I like what I'm seeing so far Interesting Premise Zankyou no Terror - you don't see many stories about terrorists, let alone it being done by two high school boys, now don't you? Most original premise I've seen of the lot, and it's Noitamina to boot Tokyo Ghoul - so it's basically zombie apocalypse but the MC also becomes a zombie? Tokyo ESP - I've heard it's like X-men Japanese style, so my interest is definitely piqued. Can't help it there's a potential childhood friend couple as well. ![]() Akame ga Kill - all I can say is... "AVENGE YOUR CHILDHOOD FRIEND DAMMIT!" XD Mechas Aldnoah Zero - High chance of epic fail I think. Only other show I know that childhood friend is living and has a chance XD Argevollen - premise sounds less interesting than above, but I don't see them being able to screw this series as much as Aldnoah Zero Will check out Barakamon - I'm currently reading Silver Nina, and a lot of my friends say this is comparable Rail Wars - I just hope this won't be as eyeroll-worthy to me as Library Wars was Jinsei - first impression I had was that it was another take on OreGairu with a less snarky MC, so definitely a plus Nozaki-kun - "Mangaka and his Assistants" with more emphasis on romance? Count me in Glasslip - *crosses fingers one of the couples are childhood friends* Rurumo - only non-BL anime JC staff is doing this season, sadly Ao Haru Ride - meh, they met early middl school. Close enough I guess Survival Club - I usually don't watch anime with all-girl cast, but since this is supposedly shoujo I'll give it a try Don't think will be all that good but will give a chance Blade Dance - thought the LN was generic as heck... Infinite Stratos with magic Rokujoma no Shinryakusha -
