Episode 7
Tbh, I think the episode should make Gion realize that rugby isn't just about tackling. The essence of teamwork is very important. Pacing wise, I think the show is working so far. When the coach blamed Gion for the reason their team is losing, I think it was just a way to get him to realize his mistakes rather than humiliating him. The coach has a lot of more experience and facts speaks for themselves by what he said about Gion's progress. Gion has to expand his ability beyond just tackling and work for the TEAM rather than himself. I'm starting to like this coach more and more now.

Now this is getting interesting. They're meeting other teams and seeing different playing styles. One thing is for sure though, I hope they end up kicking Sagami's behinds before this series ends. grrrrr!!!

Episode 10
More of a training and lighthearted episode. Pacing feels steady and digging holes does build character and stamina on the beach. That bro talk was kinda entertaining I guess between Gion and Etsugo. Saw a little bit of his past too. I love how Gion declare his intention to become the strongest because people often view him more of as an underdog with his height. The ending was rather intimidating

Anything that gets you moving and heart going is good exercise, even something like light gardening, is considered moderate exercise. As to the coaches claims about it being a full body workout, probably, but I wouldn't recommend it being the only type of exercise one does, it'll become hell on your back.

Hmmm. I think the makers of the series should really stop making almost every character having homoerotic tendencies. Rugby is a game for everyone, but it doesn't mean that every second player has to be homosexual or overweight. Diversity is good, but I think they are overdoing it.
