School years in Japan, despite their start and ending dates varying from the one in the rest of the world are as long as the one here, so if no one has changed years then a year hasn't gone by.

Nope i already know the Japanese school system schedule it was more about specific events and the time they happen to occur in. Look at the contents of Anh_Minh's and my post.
