As always Sleepy Speculator, brilliant idea and the only one so far that is plausible IMO. That is more than likely. I'm sure that this piece of cloth has nothing to do with AFs (and even less with Riful) and since Yagi made Dee hold it, it must have some meaning.

That it's part of Renee's cloak is a great idea. It unfortunately says nothing as to whether Ranee is alive or dead though.
Either she is alive and this a fragment that Ditrich found...
...or Ditrich found Ranee dead and decided to keep a momento from a fallen friend.
Who knows.
