I have a question:
when Touma was hit in the head by the feather of light, in the anime it was an accident while in the manga to protect Index he put himself in the path of a feather he didn't catch with his hand. what happened in the novel?

Mikoto was emo-suicidal during the Sisters arc..

Certainly bad luck but looking the situations from other view:
- Kuroko was only injured the first time because Awaki didn't had the intention to kill to begin, the second time was dangerous but Touma saved her.

- Uiharu was ass kicked by Kakine and almost crushed like a bug, but was saved by Accelerator.

- Mikoto wasn't killed by Accelerator the first time, despite having many chances to do so, and at the second time, Accelerator was defeated by Touma.

My theory
We know two girls(Mikoto and İndex) love Touma.science and magic enemies.I think Touma enemies İndex butIndex is memory continuously deleted.We do not know much about she history ,she really look like Aleister Crowley. if İndex, Aleister Crowley's sister, so chosen. Touma going kill Aleister Crowley ,he must kill İndex or saving and series end.

I like İndex why everyone hates she. I think she is not childish she is SİSTER-sama so she needs to act.Only, not aware of her feelings she loves Touma.

Touma want to project every girl and this world but only one person more important to him than the others.
He want to says volume 22 ch 5 I love you ( if he cant return) ,cant say but Index stopped him he will promise ''Definitely, I’ll come back.''

Definitely come back alive.

Touma himself loves index cuz he said "I'll definitely come back alive".(possible but im a mikoto fan so this is blasphemy , and that doesn't show he loves index. He told mikoto in V.13 to not die,and i really need you, it doesn't mean he loves her. Index has been with him alot)

Well, now that is a hard question. Personally I think that would be a bit of an overkill, but it would be a little more interesting with Touma completely unable to hide the fact anymore- plus it would be quite the killer to the females.

Personally, I think he's probably going to pop up in some laboratory owned by Aleister and be experimented on.

By the way- anyone know what happened to Tsuchimikado lately? I haven't seen him yet in vol. 22, and I somehow doubt I will at this point.

most likely not in my opinion but hey his "death" sorta marked the halfway point in the series. Or at least made the novel interesting seeing how alot of it was translated compared to others.

Actually no. What he was trying to say back then was the truth about the loss of his memories, which he has been hiding from her since Vol. 1.

A interesting plot twist would be if the near-death experience actually got him to recover his old memories somehow.
