I would assume that speculation would be fine if you honestly haven't got a clue who it is. Like, if someone who has absolutely no idea who the character is comes in and suggests that maybe it's Fuko who has suddenly gotten superpowers that allow her to make a 5 year old clone of herself or something, then that really shouldn't be considered against the rules. But you might just as well wait for this unknown character to be introduced into the story, as I believe a lot of the people who watch the series already know who it is, so speculating on it is rather useless.

oh! haha, should have known. and for everyone else, i only watched the anime and movie, i haven't touched anything else clannad related. i guess everyone else here is way out of my league d:

And btw, this is awful, Clannad AS is made to be shown in 16:9. But as we can see for 4:3 they cropped the borders. This isn't fun at all :
