- There was a Saki rep, but didn't look that strong. Ruiko (railgun rep) wasn't really interested in Group V..... and Setsuna (White Album 2) still goes from 2nd prelim to winning her match over 2 1st prelim challengers..... including a possible snipe? of Shiro (No Game No Life). I guess Yu Matsumi (Saki) can thank Ruiko (Railgun) for the asist since it will affect her 2nd round match. (Not really familiar with White Album yet)
- While I wasn't sure about the decision to snipe Shiro, attempting to snipe Maki with Yaya early on was a good idea since I think she could be the stronger of the LoveLive reps. Yaya actually had a decent lead early on as well. Maki however proves that she can't be underestimated by turning a deficit of 30+ votes into a very convincing win. - Mayoi has a convincing win in her match. |

Hachikuji wins a lot easier than I thought she would. I'm really surprised to see Setsuna win. She was in the same group as Shiro and placed 15th relative to Shiro's 2nd. I wonder why there's such a drastic change here. Maki has no trouble with Yaya despite what I originally thought. Saten also easily wins her match.

AWai manages to beat Kirino but Touka fails to beat Tohka. Maybe if Yoshino wasn't around, Touka would have won. I get the third match right and Kana advances to Round 2. Not too surpringly, Yoshino won her match.
Matches U1-4 V1-4 W1-4 X1-4 Round 1 will finally draw to a close with this set of matches. Unless the horses can work some magic, a Saki character will win the first match. I'm not exactly sure who it will be but Hatsumi is probably more likely. Kobeni is a tough opponent for Mami to draw in round 1. Kobeni went even with Rize and Cocoa in preliminaries. I doubt she's actually that strong, though. As a result, she probably can't beat Mami. Natsume might win the third match since her opponents are weak enough. Miyanaga Saki wil close Round 1 with yet another win. Just how many characters do they have in Round 2 now?

The horses are doing pretty well out of the gate. They'll need a bit more horsepower to catch up to Hatsumi, though. I support them with a vote.
I also vote Shino (for the same reason as Suzu), but she's doomed no matter how you look at it. With nobody I care about advancing to the second round, I'll have to start making up reasons to vote characters. Quote:

Hm, there appears to be about 20 fake votes each for Horses/Kobeni/Ryuuko/Ouka.
The fake ballots all occur between post 762 and post 782 (along with a couple of what I presume are real ballots), voting only for the above four, and with a really short and generic support message on each one. At least the person responsible put a bit more effort into hiding the fake votes (compared to the last time I pointed out an instance of fake votes). Not much more, though. Edit: Apparently someone went on a spamming spree and added another 30 or so fake votes to the above four. If you are using an interim tracker and you are wondering why Kobeni is beating Mami, among other wonders of today, you will come back to reality when you realize what actually happened.

FractalFusion, I checked the tracker, and someone other than those four your mentioned is leading. I think Mami is going to be safe here; she usually dominates the last hour in this round.
Standby in 10 plus stoppage for results... EDIT: Spoiler:

Out of the troll materials that is Kyuubey, Tippy and the horses, only the horses survive while the other two got eliminated from the tournament. Maybe voters love them horses since they are the most troll-ish out of the troll candidates.

The horses actually put up a bit of a fight but in the end they aren't close to winning. Hatsumi takes first but the horses hang on to second. Kobeni really doesn't seem as strong as she did during preliminaries. Mami ends up winning easily. Natsume wins the third match without much difficulty. AS expected, Saki easily takes the fourth match.

All first round results (including total ballots for each match):
http://pastebin.com/vkjidr7C First repechage: http://pastebin.com/bB0D5eKE Oh and by the way, there are only 95 names in first repechage, even though there are nominally 96. It's because of the tie for first in one of the matches.
