Since I'm still new in AS, I don't think I can help you. But you can try edit, then copy your post (Ctrl+A>Ctrl+C) and delete it, then paste your post to Romance Section

For the record, action and music were outstanding: no need to add more on that. However, as I always said I am a very tough customer to satisfy and I hate when the glass is half-empty (I didn't vote though)

Because he's not done telling stories in the Frontier setting, whereas the story was finished in the others?

Of course Alto know about Japanese culture and sheryl doesn't.

Sheryl not knowing how to use chopsticks could very well be traced back to her being a street urchin and never having gone to school ( basically being raised by Grace, who wouldn´t put much importance on social, uh, graces ) before arriving on Frontier.

She knew how to apologize by bowing ( though that looked more Chinese than Japanese ) in episode 6.

The triangle theme yes refers to the love triangle, but in around ep 21, 22 (maybe a bit late) I appreciated that the triangle theme also applies to Grace's, Leon's & Birla's battle for control over the Frontier, Vajra & Fold Quartz.

Ozma, Cathy & Leon were also a small (lame becoz of Leon) example of a triangle.

Another triangle -- The internal battle between Alto's wishes (to fly in a never ending sky), Alto's duty a.k.a the expectation on Alto's shoulders (to fight and save people) and Alto's rebellion a.k.a not having your destiny controlled by your birth, but by your own choices and actions -- yet questioning if you're making the right choice. (hmm... last one applies to Ranka and Sheryl too.)

Actually if I really wanted to, I could pull triangle theories out of my butt (sounds painful). Like... triangle -- the past (what happened to Ranka 11 yrs ago), present (her quest to be an idol so she can be loved by Alto) and future (if she can't have Alto, she'll destroy the Frontier... uh... ok, maybe not). XD

Finally human and vajra can live together. And damn a lot of song in appear in this episode, damn confuse >.<".Sheryl get heal because of Ranka o.O".

Song is and always the ultimate weapon. The boss 1 shot then gone already. Although don't know who Alto choose at the end, but he finally can fly freely under the sky, or he choose both since both also his wing. And finally the Aimo , it is a love song.

Macross all about LOVE. Love is important .

The ending quite nice .

One important thing , why Alto flashback his memory about his Kabuki when he is connecting his new VF.

About 3some, I don't think so. When he talk about those 2 girls to become his wings and make his hand move to those girls, I feel that he is acting like Yagami Light (when he met Naomi). I think those 2 girls are his tools which bring him to the SKY.

I'm still not voted this EP yet (wait to see subs). But in my mind now.

I finally managed to get a RAW downloaded rather than watching streams and just noticed that Alto and Brera fly past part of the Galaxy escort fleet...so I guess that was all, if not most of it then. Shame, I was hoping there'd be more to it.

I think she had more social ettiquette training than most with her being an idol and all prolly just not trained on how to use a chopstick.

Just finished watching subbed finale. The ending was good, but the series was great.

Ok so it was even better the 2nd time around. Now that I had the subtitles to help me. I'd give it an 11/10 if I could.

In honor of end of the series until the movie I will say goodbye to my sexy Grace O'Connor avatar - and instead take my new yanked VF25EX Alto Salute to Sheryl Avatar and put it in it's place. Grace will be back oh yes she will to sex you up with her eeeeevil.

There was a misconception or at least a confusion on one of the scenes we saw about how many fighters Quarter could carry. While this doesn't answer it, it explains that what we saw wasn't what we thought we saw.

Spoiler for The explaination:

This is Macross Quarter coming back in with it's reinforcements. All the ones next to Quarter and in the foreground. Those are the squadron from Quarter.



This picture shows Quarter going into a charge attack after Ranka and Sheryl combine their songs. Captain Wilder takes charge and orders everyone still flying to join them in the charge. Hence you have Quarter and Frontier squadrons in flight in this picture. A mix of forces.

There was also some question as to if the Birdman from Macross Zero was superior to the Vajra Queen entity. We didn't know if Protoculture race came before or after the Vajra. Well according to Grace it's the following...

Spoiler for What came first, the Proto-chicken or the Vajra-egg?:

According to Grace, the race of Protoculture admired or feared the Vajra so much as to imitate them. I don't quite see that as conclusive as the Vajra could have easily been a branch off Protoculture if they came to visit the plant. So as I said in the spoiler tag title, What came first? The Proto-chicken or the Vajra-egg? Still up for debate in my opinion.

And lastly, just because this scene with it's action and the particular music playing at that time and because it's fricken awesome, is one of my favorite in the finale and the season.

And in the last scene, he extends his RIGHT HAND only, not left hand, not Both Hands!!! XD

Rewatch that scene again and have a sweet dream, Ranka Fans!!!

Here's a thought. Why is Alto extending his hand? How do two people naturally grip each other's hands?
Now notice which girl has which hand extended to Alto hoping to share his sky.

Not that it means much, since I expect the movie to shake things up a bit anyway.
