I don't know on the anime, I know the first episode was basically one chapter but that chapter was almost twice the size of some of the other chapters. I can easily see something like ep7-ep8 being the mansion stuff and and then next episode being saeko and komuro and then them arriving at the mall with 4 episodes to do the mall story. I could even see them cutting out the whole trip to the doctor thing for the old lady though it served a good purpose in the story to show that they sacrificed one person just to extend her life by a week.

If the episode count is indeed 13(which I suspect it to be) then it most likely will end at the mansion as that is really the most action packed part of the series other than the mall. This is assuming no AO material.

Ending the anime at the point when they leave the mansion seems the likeliest. It's an important emotional turning point for the crew, and the mall storyline is still in progress so they wouldn't have had a chance to animate it properly.

This poster's money is on the headshot being a clean hit, but there's always room for cliche plot twists. Actually, I never even considered that Asami might make it out alive until someone suggested it here. The ending of the last chapter seems to suggest that she dies but I guess they don't exactly cement it. Although I like her character, it would be a bit of a cop-out letting her live when her farewell was so emotional.

The Mall storyline by all accounts seems like it will be ending the next chapter. I just don't think the Mansion would be a good place to end because really there isn't that much more to happen before the group gets there.

That may be true, but the anime's been in production for a while now. Even if the last episode is not yet animated, chances are they had to plan out the ending from the start and might not have been sure about where it's going (unless they consulted the author). Well, either way, I would have no complaints if they do manage to include the mall storyline of course Any place to stop is fine as long as it's not an anime-original ending.

That would be lovely to see. They are both such sadists, but Saeko tops all ^_^;;; I'm still wondering how exactly Takeshi will take responsibility with Rei around. A flower on each arm?

some one in another forum speculate that shot it's not Kouta weapon but another person...and the one being shot is not Asami but Kouta....he's screaming and the zombie staggered for it. Kouta unable to be use later for a while..and make intense pressure to other party.
