My suggestion probably got lost before, but I suggest that he pulls out first a cabbit! (described as furry, floppy ears, meows like a cat; Haruki looks at it puzzled, thinks things over for a moment, and then throws it back and grabs whichever breed and color of cat that we decide on)

*look of horror* 0_o Um. I'm hoping really hard that this is just your little joke. If a cabbit appeared, Haruki would realize reality was buckling and no amount of disclaimers could persuade him otherwise. The world would be forever altered.

Seconded. The likelihood of Haruki tossing back a cabbit is about as high as Haruhi not tackling Bigfoot and putting him in a leghold if she met him while hiking in the forest, then dragging him back to the clubroom.

I guess you weren't here for that. That's the side project where both the original and genderbent versions of the characters exist in the same universe. And in this case I'm talking about the romance comedy incarnation whereby the universe has always existed like that.

Anyway, right now I'm thinking something along the lines of Haruki and Haruhi somehow ended up in a pro wrestling match against Kyon and Kyonko, who are in Bigfoot and Yeti costumes. Don't ask me how they got to this point, I'm just trying to imagine some of the submission moves that the Suzumiyas will be using.

Yes I just watched Special A. Yes anime is a drug.

I had the most horrible idea for the whole arc where Suzumiya is shooting the movie ... o_o What if Haruki settles for a cat familiar because he can't get a catgirl assistant for Yuuki? "Not enough people, and the minions aren't good enough as actors to double, darnit! Why can't I get a decent catgirl on short notice? So annoying!" The next morning, Kyonko discovers she's grown nekomimi and a tail, she needs to wear a beret to hide the former, tuck in the latter, and has a very strong motivation to get Haruki to reverse his subconscious changes to the world. Though the extendable claws are a little bit fun ...

I know the chance of this idea going through are slim, but it popped into my head, and I want it out of there, darnit! >.<

Why do I sense a fanfic coming on in which all who wish harm upon Kyon are briefly put in his place, only to be removed once the hurting is over, leaving Kyon confused but moderately relieved, while leaving a lot of otaku in hideous pain ...?
