First post...what do I say that isn't already explained in my Username? Hrm....

Well, let's start with me being a writer...I guess. I mean, I'm not that good at it, but I'd like to think I can push a somewhat entertaining story if I put my mind to it. I'm working on a book--sort of--that I hope to have published. I have a few manga/light novel concepts too, but my capacity for drawing is severely limited, so it kind of foils my hopes of putting out comics. I'm thinking about a few fan fictions too--typically oriented in Lucky Star, Venus Versus Virus, My Otome and K-On!, to name a few.

I came to this forum the first time a loooooong ways back, and I'd nearly forgotten about it. See, I had been rummaging for some nigh-non-existent Arika/Nina yuri fiction and a place to offer a My Otome roleplay, and somewhere along the ways, I just stumbled upon your shores. Kind of odd that I just registered now, but better late than.................

So, if I've sparked anyone's bizarre sense of interest yet, then PM me about it so you don't have to draw stares in my company. I've been known to have that effect.

Interesting! I'm a writer to on fanfiction.net. Known as DarkShadow At Midnight. I write InuYasha fanfic's...have been since 2006. Writing is the only hobby I have. I wish to try photography but my sister would hate me...I wish to try drawing but my friends will hate me....

Why my sister would hate me, you think? It is because she wants to be a photographer when she gets older. Or whatever.

Why my friends would hate me, you ask? It is because all of them would think I'm trying to copy their talent. I'm just a teen trying to have a life. Sheesh. Can you believe the hate I'm receiving here?

Anyway, I'm Dashami Priest'er! Dashami is a combination of my real name and "DarkShadow" from my fanfiction.net account. A friend made it up for me and that friend is Onineko Hikari-chan. She doesn't have an account on here, but she does on ff.net. Don't hesitate to check her stories out.

Hmmm. Well this isn't my first post, but I joined pretty recently so i guess it's time I properly introduced myself ^_^.

First off, my username. I made it before the matrix came out, there they copied me, not the other way around! :P

Currently, I'm a sophmore in college and am probably duel majoring in computer science and linguistics. I plan to attend law school once I graduate.

With that aside, I guess i'll mention some hobbies =D. Well obviously I love watching anime (duh) and reading manga. I'm also a huge fan of movies, and I'm an amateur film maker =D. I've also been bboying (breakdancing) for a while.

In regards to the anime I like, well anything that's good (that's pretty generic though >_<) if you want specifics feel free to look at my anime list.

I love anime and manga in general, but I tend to lean towards stories that have a strong emphasis on human relationships and romantic comedies, (Excel Saga being one of my favorites that goes against this, but how could I not enjoy the schitzophrenic frenzy of randomness of that show?)

I'm always on the hunt for new series to watch, so suggestions are welcome ^^
Please don't suggest any hentai >.> My wife can handle me watching a fan-service laden / ecchi show, but she draws the line at animated porn. The only porn allowed in our home is homemade ^_^

Hi all!

Brand new to the site. I suppose I'm an anime fan but I don't really frequent any Anime-forums. Was on Gaia as a young'un but not since. Recently the "Anime Thread" at my usual online hangout was shut down, so it's members have reconvened here and so have I.

I'm usually into darker or grittier action-oriented stuff like Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain or Darker than Black, but as sort of an anomaly, I also read the Loveless manga. I picked up the first issue awhile ago as a joke, and now have all the volumes that are out.

I tentatively draw and write. I consider myself not that great at the first and halfway decent at the latter, though I barely ever get either done. I like RP'ing but haven't done a good one in longer than I can remember.

I'm addicted to coffee and the Internet, thus my day doesn't start until I've had my dose of both.

I've never used this SN anywhere else before, but I have so many tags that it'd be useless to list them here. If you think you know me, or even want to know me, just say "hi" or throw me a PM :P.

Hi everyone!

I'm new in here so don't pick on me .
Some facts about myself:
I'm from finland and currently doing my fourth year in high school. I'm 18 years old. My future plans are still pretty vague. Well, my strong points in school are math and physics so i pretty much continue working on these subjects and see what happens then.

About hobbies... Well like many others here, I like Watching anime and reading manga. I also like playing games(mostly rpg and some visual novels). That's pretty much all.
Here are a few of my favorite animes: Clannad(both seasons), Higurashi no naku koro ni(all), Kimi ga nozomu eien, Eureka 7, Noein, Welcome to the NHK, Toward the Terra, Elfen lied.
And Here are a few of my favorite mangas: Mahou sensei negima, Hayate the combat butler, Rurouni Kenshin, Claymore.
There's lots and lots more but it would take too much time to remember all.
As you can see there's no clear genre I like the most, well except for romance in nearly all. So pretty much all is ok. Still the important part to me isn't how great it looks visually, but the story and of course the characters. Feel free to recommend some great anime's.

Oh... English ain't my first language so it might not be perfect, but i hope you can understand what I'm saying.

The atmosphere here feels really nice and friendly so i hope we can get along.
