1) It doesn't look that way to me.
2) Backround info constantly refers to the place as Earth.
3) "It's actually the Moon" plot twist is so silly, overused and been-there-done-that that I don't think they'd use it either.

Wow.

I think I kind of like the way how this show sometimes just throws in little bits of madness amongst the heavy-handed philosophy and emo-ness.

I have to watch this to see how well it's done, but even if it isn't I suppose the other people probably wouldn't have handled it as well...

I think i'm slowly losing it when reading these blogs and watcing the screens. I don't even want to imagen what will happen once i see it

lol wtf? That episode was both strange and fun, a Pino episode yay!

So, the Walt Disney lookalike was a proxy who didn't want to fight Vincent and somehow got into Pino's head to beg her help?

This is clearly the Pino(cchio) episode.

We have the Jiminy Crickett, the fox and the hound, and the amusement park.

the animation style was so different on the two dolls that i thought someone had slipped me acid or i was having a bad dream that involved pino

but when it kept going i realized i was watching the real episode

this one is awesome

i'm glad they devoted a whole episode to pino!!

but i thought the guy looked more like vincent price than walt disney

BTW, OMG there is a poster behind him in the film that says Ergo Proxy II coming soon!!!

i know it's only part of the episode, but it would be nice if they decided to do another season... this is the most thoughtful and literate anime i've ever scene

I'm looking forward to that - but an even bigger one, which I think more people will be interested in: next episode, ep 19, will be storyboarded by the Shinichiro Watanabe Basically in ep 19 it seems like Spoiler: Pino gets lost and finds herself in this city called "World Smile Garden", where she meets two dolls called Aru and Puru. (Quick, stop the images of floating anime-eyed puddings!) They tell her "This is a place created for people to be able to smile for eternity, an amusement city". Furthermore, Pino bumps into an autorave called Rogi/Roggy (I miss Iggy...), and with his guidance, is able to visit the creator of the World Smile Garden, Guddo (Good??). Episode 20 will be scripted by Yuuko Kawabe again, and it looks like a key episode where a lot of things will happen, as Spoiler: Ril and Vincent return to Romdo, and being people who returned from the "outside world" safely, they had a big effect on the maintainence of order in the heavily controlled city of Romdo. While this was going on, a counsellor named Swan approaches Ril. And Ril tells Swan a secret which she never told anybody else before?.... Hmmmmm. The synopsis for ep 21 isn't too revealing either, basically the gist of it seems to be that Spoiler: Ril goes to the temporary-immigrants sector, where there apparently is the cogito-infected autorave that is said to be the main cause of everything, and uh... faces the truth or something.And she meets Pino, yay. __________________ Thanks for the fish
