This entire episode was basically Trigger writing a love letter to Kill La Kill and I loved it. I especially loved it when Before My Body is Dry started playing.

Considering each season has been very different in terms of plot and tone, I'd think that Luluco will cross over with 1-2 more animes then back to original plot. (depending on if it's 12 or 13 eps)

Supposedly Imaishi said that Eva fans will enjoy the final episode....

I don't know if they can afford throwing in references to P&SwG or TTGL that are too blatant though, since those are technically Gainax, not Trigger. Remember that for far less than what Trigger did here with its own shows Osomatsu-san was forced to pull the first episode from Crunchyroll. Lawsuits are a scary thing.

Full on Trigger this week. It would of been even funnier if they used their classic OST again from KLK but I'm satisfied

Imaishi did a short for Animator Expo called SEX and VIOLENCE with MACHSPEED. This episode is basically a transfer of that over to Luluco, only with less... uh, just go watch it.
