Their Spice and Wolf translation was perfect. Still remember than I re-watched S2 of the anime while reading LNs in English. Maszuis subs was real terribad translation.

Although I won't argue that some of Yen press translations are not perfect.

Welp, just as I kept NGNL on my Plan to Read list, Yen Press strikes, prompting all fan translations to shut down.
GG, now the rest of the English-speaking world has to deal with exporting those books.

Four months is quite short, though. That's more or less the pace of Yen Press' release of the Index LNs.

All I've got is something about Miko, myths, and the Old Deus, and finding a way to "kill without killing" the latter. I could probably parse it out better after work tomorrow using all my translation tools, but maybe it's best if someone with a firmer grasp on the language tries it?

Not really. According to author's twitter, he rewritten the novel content quite a few tine if i remembered correctly and thus missed the deadline for publication in march.

I don't hear too much about Zell since she is the one person that knows about Sora other than Shiro. I wonder if she adapt some of Sora's methods into her strategies in games.

What else did you expect? It's not what happens in NGNL that's the draw. That's basically a foregone conclusion. It's how that happens, and what kind of torture (and occasional victory) Steph goes through in the process.
