Now THIS is how you adapt a fantasy harem LN! Animation was superb and all the little details and quirks of the characters really added to the liveliness of the the world.
I also didn't realize Hestia's ribbons were her 'support' until I saw her animated |

No, I'm not. I wish I was, but this season's outlook is very bleak to say the least.
Animation-wise, this series is pretty top notch - as expected of J.C Staff. The story itself is also a nice departure away from the sickening school life clones. I also love RPG stuff. I need nothing more. |

Agreed - Hestia is definitely my favorite character ... at least from what little I have read in the source material. Hopefully the adaptation will be able to bring out how she is portrayed there effectively!
The VA for Hestia (Inori Minase) did a good job as Noel in Sora no Method and Chino in Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu Ka, I thought, and am hoping she will do a good job here as well.

I don't get why people are waiting for all the answers on the first episode.
I enjoyed the first episode, it was pretty nice. Hestia is short, but her are pretty big. The only thing I disliked so far is Kirito's seiyuu again... this dude is getting way too many roles. with that said... All aboard the hype train.

ep 1
It really needs to be said the audio visual aspects of this show is quite impressive. Well the visuals moreso than the sound, but overall quite a pleasant experience.
As for the content itself, my impression of both LN and manga holds here as well: overall it was okay. Bell is about one of most typical shounen protags you can get. Hestia is cute and thankfully more mild on spectrum of Tsundereism scale. Neither characters are bad, but they aren't particular interesting compared to their comtemporaries in the medium IMO. The lighthearted relaxed atmosphere of the premiere is fairly charming, but doesn't provide much of a hook to show the plot will go anywhere intriguing, and the dialogue isn't at level where it can carry the show alone for this to be too slow paced. Nevertheless there is a potential for simple and fun adventure story. Hopefully the visuals can be mentioned throughout this run. On sidenote, if the OP means anything looks we going get atleast volume 4... Last edited by Iron Maw; 2015-04-04 at 07:12. |

1) they don't understand absolutely every aspect of a show having only seen episode One 2) scream bloody murder because the anime doesn't follow the manga line by line 3) try to sound wise and in-the-know by being disdainful and sarcastic These forum posters are more reliable than a cesium clock.
