Yes. It's not a loli. It's a shota. And he did call Rokuro his son.

Yin is what both yokai and impurities are made of as creatures of darkness--yokai are often "born" from things, places, and people that have accumulated "kegare".

Edit: HOLY SHIT. I just saw what's inside Chapter 30.

Did Seimei (if that cute loli-looking onmyouji many people assumed was his future daughter is really him) just call Rokuro his "son"?

You what?. For real?

Did HC's sister die? She seemed to be in a pretty dire situation at the end of Ch29...

I guess that explains his Exorcist robes when Seigen found him.

That still doesn't explain why he was in Magano, though. Seimei couldn't possibly have been harsh enough to keep him there, right?

So from what I have read this is a story about a married couple where one represents light and the other represents darkness.

I have to be honest I thought Rokuro would be the darkness considering his history, but its noted that he is very kind while Benio is sort of hard and cold at times, so I guess it fits.

I think its kind of obvious that there is more to the story of the Miko than what Arima has said so far.

They're just keeping with the actual meanig of the terms.

Yin 陰 or 阴 Noun: [Chinese philosophy] negative/passive/female principle in nature; Surname Bound morpheme; the moon; shaded orientation; covert, concealed, hidden; negative.

Yang 陽 or 阳 Bound morpheme: [Chinese philosophy] positive/active/male principle in nature; the sun; in relief; open, overt; belonging to this world.

I found this on 4chan. I think it explains the Miko thing pretty well (if a little tongue in cheek).

Basically, Rokuro represents the yang enchanted power and Benio the yin enchanted power. The Miko will bring both together. I guess you could call him/her "yin-yang warrior" instead of "Miko", though that sounds a little cheesy.

Ironically, that seems to be the exact goal of Yuuto... except his method seems to need a lot more blood to be shed.

I wonder if the Twin Star Exorcists will replace Arima as the heads of the exorcists, so far Arima has been depicted as goofy and friendly but its been noted that he is showing signs of extreme ruthlessness.

An example of this is when it was established that he would sacrifice anybody to insure the birth of the Miko and since it turned out that Seimei is still alive the Miko can't be his reincarnation so he either lied about the true story of the Miko or he doesn't know (considering his vast knowledge of just about everything that is going on and his talent at seeing more than others see, I seriously doubt he didn't know).

I am starting to wonder if Arima is really the good guy leader the author was initially depicting him as or if he has a dark side that will make him a surprise antagonist.

^ Arima himself never said the Miko was the reincarnation of Seimei. If the scanlation said that (I don't remember now) it's probably a mistranslation.

What Arima said is that the Miko would surpass Seimei.

Well, even than something about the guy seems shady.

I firmly believe he has a dark side we haven't fully seen yet.

@ saw2097 I agree with you about Arima.

Perhaps it's just a well-intentioned extremist, but there is definitely something strange about him.

I guess we will see.

I suspect that regardless of his intentions the two heroes will eventually break away from him.

They have already defied him multiple times but I doubt they can just keep doing that and maintain a positive relationship with the guy.

Most likely the anime will only cover the first saga when they're 14 years old.

It seems there are some confirmations that the Anime will be more than 1 cour, maybe up to 4 cours.

Yeah, I agree. It's only matter of time before this happen.

In fact, I think that will happen sooner than later.

At Ep04 already and I'm really feeling they're trying to extend the story as much as they can.
These last two episodes feel more filler-ish than not, given that I no longer remember well what happened in the Manga's first chapters.

I found the pacing of manga atrocious. Anime's pacing is way better.
