There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that Kamijou nor anyone else but Aiwass to having achieved something like that, regardless of Dragon or not.

It's pretty much flavor text; so really it's a toss up between 'crimson' and 'scarlet' to see which sounds cooler.
Actually, go with scarlet, according to wiki, there's some religious thingy with the word scarlet.

If it matters to anyone, while both are deep reds, scarlet is slightly brighter and leans toward orange, while crimson is a bit darker, slightly saturated and leans toward purple.
Taking out the technicality, you could say scarlet is vivid and warm while crimson is dark and cold. Likewise, in literature you'll usually relate crimson with blood and murder while scarlet with passion. |

But yeah, I think you should find out what the Japanese text say first to see if it's more orangy or deep dark.

Actually, I didn't say it's not used for blood but rather that it's more usual the use of Crimson for it than Scarlet.
Here are some examples for Scarlet And here some for Crimson Well, based on these examples you could also say that not like everyone cares about the subtle differences of colors and some authors use Crimson and Scarlet interchangeably. Then again, some could be mistranslations... But what I said still stands true. |

If that's all it says about the wings then you're right, it's just red wings, we shouldn't use a more descriptive color if we don't know more about how Kazuma pictured those wings. |
